The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Yes it’s still Saturday. I think that was a fixed amount discount, not 20%. If you can send the code over in PM I’ll check. There might be a few videos next week. I'll try to make a video before the preorder Not yet, but probably around 4 PM UK time if I can finish by then. There’s still...

Unfortunately there won't be a new glass yet, so just the Revolve glass. Some may work but generally I wouldn't recommend any other. It comes with the adapter during pre-order. Yes

No, it's correct. The "time over" method takes longer and it's heating slowly for about 10 seconds at the end then stop heating. With the other method (temp 2) you heat it only until it's heating at full power for a few more seconds compared to temp 1, however it won't stop heating so you have...

Yes that’s right, it should arrive around the same time either way. Currently it’s 18€ with DPD, hope to have a cheaper option next week. Yes

The stock hasn’t arrived yet but should be here sometime next week. I expect to launch the pre-order between Wednesday - Saturday next week.

Max power, timer between 45-60s depending on the power limit. No difference, both magnetic.

Yes, typically non-magnetic metals are less ideal for IH efficiency, however the Flare is limiting the output if you try to heat something that has magnetic / ferrous walls like the Thermocore, standard DV cap, Tempest etc.

An FMJ won’t work well because ideally, you’d have to put it over the airholes, blocking them. Most importantly it needs a non-magnetic induction sleeve instead of the magnetic one.

The deepest position should work best

Seems like I can make it work at 110-120W with magnetic Reload compatibility. Will take a few months until it will be available though.

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I’m working on a Flare-compatible induction sleeve that will be slightly thicker and non-magnetic. I tested it with a thin non-magnetic sleeve and was able to achieve around 95W. If both the indicator housing and the induction sleeve are non-magnetic, it can reach 120W. However, losing the...

No, there will be loads in stock once it finally arrives. Please leave a note about it with the upgrade kit order, I’ll send a new one.

Battery Free Ganz - The Flare Induction heater

No, it won’t be better unfortunately. Seems like with anything magnetic it’s limited in power.

It uses 6x1 and 5x1 o-rings, most of the o-rings on the Tempest are these two sizes. You can adjust the tip connection by changing the size of the o-rings so it’s more secure in glass, etc. The default is one of each size. The Tempest stock is almost ready. I think it will be finished this...

You can put a fine screen under it which would help and not the reduce the airflow too much. Or use it sideways in the wand:
