I hold the stem like a cigarette and bring the enano up to the stem, not the other way around. When I want to set the stem down, I set it horizontally in an ashtray, just like I would a cigarette. I seldom lose a load this way.

This one says it can power devices UNDER 230 watts. But it does mention a "fan work quiet", and "Silent working fan brings you undisturbed sleep", so maybe there is noise. https://www.amazon.com/International-Adapter-Converter-Straightener-Universal/dp/B07V81Q4XG/ref=sr_1_28 This one is smaller...

Sorry, you're right. I was looking for a less bulky one than what we had. The one I gave away looks like this. It downconverts to 110 V but doesn't adjust the frequency from 50 to 60 Hz. But frequency doesn't matter for a simple heater device like the Enano...

I gave someone my US travel adapter for them to use for a similar purpose. These things are overkill for the Enano since it only pulls about 20 watts, maximum - at normal settings mine is pulling 7 to 8 watts. But these things are smallish, go right into the plug...

Try giving your herb a light compression with the back of a chopstick. That's really all it needs. Then you can hold the stem at any angle. But I mostly hold the stem like a cigar and bring the enano up to the stem. More comfortable and no worries about losin g the herb. You may want to stir...

A disadvantage of such a simple device with no current regulation.

That plug is likely on a different circuit and has a lower voltage. It shouldn't do that but I've seen that in houses with old wiring. Especially if that circuit is shared with some heavy-duty appliances.

The new Enano screens So now I've used all three Enano screens - the original metal screens, the fixed glass screens and the newer cup screens. I have to say I prefer the older, scragglier screens the best. The glass screens are too restrictive on airflow and let through too many particles if...

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've heard of someone melting a plastic brush into their Enano. Maybe EpicVape should include a natural fiber brush with their kits to prevent this. Like MFLB does. I use a stiff natural fiber paintbrush I got at an art store.

My simple routine: Because there is some variation in household voltage and maybe some variations in Enanos, I can't be exact, but I normally set mine somewhere around 6.5. This is likely a good place to start 95% of the time. Then adjust slightly as I play around. The preferred range for mine...

I don't even move the screen. I have one stem about 5 years old, original screen. Never moved it except to adjust the depth. I scrap out the AVB with the enano tool, blow out what's left, and drop it in a jar of 92% ISO for about 20 seconds, rinse it with hot water and blow the water out. Other...

I never remove the screens from the steam. I drop the whole thing in iso to clean it.

Good warning - I generally blow it out over the sink. Those balls would go right down the drain. No stop, they are held in by friction. At least with the old metal screens, they hold their position very well. They never moved at all in spite of me scrapping them out every use. Simply not an...

I got the adjustable ice stem last week. Wow - I hadn't realized how much draw resistance the fixed screen ice stem had. which I've been using for the last couple of years. The new ice stem has no draw resistance at all, in spite of the beads. It came with the new basket that is placed in it...

I just realized my maple Enano turns 5 years old next month. I've been using it daily since I first got it. About three years ago I put it on a smart plug and have it turn on for 6 hours every day. The unit still looks brand new. I have the original adjustable stems and GonG I got with it...

Too bad. My main complaints about the Enano are: 1) the cord is too stiff, so it often causes the Enano to fall over. It seems like for such a low-wattage device a thinner and more flexible power cord could be used; and 2) the dial goes from 0 to 11 but you only tend to use it between 5 and 8...

Anybody try the new Epicvape "Dimm Box" Supposed to be easier to control. I was interested when I got an email from Epicvape saying they had new dimmer cords for under $25, but when I went to their site they are listed at $40.

"I just scoop with the gong or stem..........maybe he means that? " Of course, you're right. That's why he needs a wide and shallow container.

What do you use as a scoop? I cut a plastic straw in half on a diagonal so it makes a scoop. It works really well, each scoop of the straw is about 1/2 a load and it is easy to drop into the stem, but it's not very elegant.
