I only worry about storing concentrates and edibles in a mini fridge I have. Both are in sealed containers. Weed I keep in a cool place that is not in direct light. A big stash of unopened weed doesn't seem to smell but once it's open the odor is strong. None of my family partake and are very sensitive to the smell. < sigh >

Your family must be related to my wife! I keep it in jars in a cupboard in my shop and open them sparingly.

Lol. I keep my main stash in my shop. To be honest I keep some of it in a shop cabinet and the smell is noticeable. So it's kind of an don't ask don't tell. Now that I exclusively vape, smell is not as bad but noticeable on me

I only have and use a rechargeable vacuum sealer.

Just opened a small mason jar I vac sealed long ago with some CBD samples.
I always DATE my 62% Bovida pacs.
The date on the pacs was October 2022.
The Bovida pacs were still soft, meaning they are still GOOD.

*Since the legalization, I don’t vac seal much anymore as don’t feel the need for long term storage, but it’s proof to me that it’s a great solution, when needed.

I bought a few of the ones below, not as cheap as the ones in your link, but you can squeeze out a lot of the air with the plunger system, same idea they use for their coffee containers. I have them in both glass and aluminum. But I still prefer using the C-Vaults with a bovida pack in the lid compartment.

The only thing with the ones I posted is that the glass is not thick so need to be careful with them.

Also you guys know the big massive jars you get picked onions in? they are amazing and the glass is so so thick.

i had never heard of the second system. Very slick, but yes pricey.

I've been using mason jars in kitchen cabinets since the 80's. Ball brand is my favorite, and 32 and 64 oz sizes mostly. But times sure have changed. Now I only use them for long term storage up to a couple of years with 62% Boveda packs. Grove bags are my goto for the first 6 months to a year. One oz and 1/4 lb bags mostly. Light weight, easy to open and if you drop one on your foot it does hurt! I also love my CVault containers. 2-liter or 4 oz, 2 oz, 1 oz, 1/2 oz and 1/4 oz. For more daily use all size jyarz are excellent products imo and I can't forget good old doob tubes for out and about. I still use kitchen cabinets but have a flower cabinet in the dining room that used to hold liquor.

That’s a beautiful setup, man. You can tell you’ve been in the game a long time, super organized and well thought out. I’ve been using Ball jars forever too, mostly 32s, but I’m really starting to appreciate Grove bags more and more lately. I use the 1 oz and 1/4 lb sizes too, they’re just so easy to handle, and yeah, way less painful if you drop one on your foot!

I’ve got a couple CVaults, but not nearly as many sizes as you, might have to expand the collection. jyARZ are solid for daily stuff, and I always keep a couple doob tubes in my car just in case. Love that you turned an old liquor cabinet into a flower stash, that’s smooth. Functional and has a story behind it.

To think I keep buds in the frig or freezer in sandwich and turkey bags makes me 😅. As well as dryimg bud with bailing wire and wood clothes pins. Anyway, downstairs is much cooler and I cure and store flower in an old 2' x 4" drying tent.

Man, you’re clearly a pro at this. Reading your setup compared to my old fridge-and-sandwich-bag days makes me laugh 😅 we’ve all come a long way.

The drying tent downstairs sounds like a proper setup, especially with the cooler temps. Love seeing how dialed-in your process is. Definitely something to aspire to!
