I have little advice, maybe you will like it (and it’s completely safe)))
Then you hold Swiss Classic you have 2 coldest spots on body:
If you will put index-finger always on red (or on blue - you will decide by “in what position flame hit less the brass nozzles”) - you will get only 1 charred-wood-radius - the green arrow.
It’s also keep mica in better condition

Re Vapman heating positions, I find I am at less risk of slight finger burns if I hold the Vapman upside-down, but flat in particular, thus with the flame pointing straight down. Also, a smaller flame is better, compared to what I used in my first few forays. Finally, I find that an angled torch, especially without a cap, or at least without an “intrusive” cap, works best.

I gotta question for the Terpene Crew out there. I heard a lot about how well the Vapman is delivering terps. Now that i own one beautiful Olive Wood for two months, loving the design and the body relaxed effects it is delivering.
For that part it is my favourite vape right now.
But i am really struggling tasting the terps. With the plastic mouthpiece i dont taste any terps. With the glass mouthpiece i taste a little bit more, but nowhere near as much as with my dynavap. I know there is a learning curve and low temps are essential.
It took me quite a while with the dyna as well, but i am really struggling here.
I will appreciate any tips. I also used the search function and found some heating times. Tried them Out, but nothing really changed. The effects are there and satisfiying. But as i have ready so many times that the taste superior to the dynavap, i kind of believe i must be doing something wrong. Maybe it is my pulling technique. Maybe it is my heating technique....
Any tips are welcome

i think the key is going slow, pulsing the heat, and yes the glass mouth piece will be better.
the vapman has a lovely signature, is incredibly efficient, has a great ritual, is one of the best vapes for hash, and is in its own singular league when it comes to microdosing. it is without question one of my favorites, and just looks so fun.
but when it comes to taste, it is overrated imo.
personally i think it tastes better than the dynavap, but that could also depend on what stem you are using with the dv?
i am sure others are going to have more helpful tips, it is totally possible i am doing sth wrong myself, and i would be more than happy to be corrected here.

Less time - longer flame
I get the same extraction by AVB color with both methods:
1) 14mm flame, 2 pulses: count 4 / count 4, 9 heatups.
2) 16.5mm flame, 2 pulses: count 3 / count 3, 9 heatups.
But 2nd method is much clean, full taste, without charred test up to last heatup.
The 1st get charred taste already from 3 heatup.
Mmmm… How old is your vapman? First 2-3 weeks it’s shitty taste. Wood oil and/or linseed oil get out. Cannabis oils get in.

Maybe it’s time to make #tips in tips. Let’s check if 4 letters enough for search.
BTW - Strawberry Cough is simply amazing. Vapman make it pretty stable but still full of creativity. With Tempest, you just get out of space!!!

Oh well. Guess it wasn't meant to be. Didn't have things lined up in time to get the station.
I really planned to mostly use my pair with a torch as that's always been my way with my dynavaps

The Station is my favorite way of using the Vapman...nice and clean and effortless...but, I only use it with the OG models...does not work with Click completely. I want them to fix this but, it does not look like anytime soon...I ask all the time. I keep getting the same answer....we shall see. Maybe one day...

Lucky for me i only have og models coming. Well, a true og and a slightly less og..og.
I plan on using the torch at first so I can really get to know the pair. Then when I feel comfortable with my technique, I shall humble myself with the station and refine said technique
.
So i have my walnut vapman. Thinking of naming him sputnik. Ive done a few woks so far. Decided I prefer heating ala @cannasoor and holding him as @0796 suggested.
I love this little guy. I also dont know why this is bold. The signature of the vapman is wonderful. Woo hoo
