POTV Lobo

I wouldn't have thought that glass drinking straws are boro. Do some list that they are? Because if the don't list it, I think that would be odd for them to spend the extra money and not market it that way.
Yes. The product description includes "DISHWASHER SAFE, food grade borosilicate shatter-resistant glass, transparent and clean."

If you are interested, you could search for "Reusable Glass Smoothie Straws,9''x12 mm Glass Drinking Straws" on Amazon and locate the product. A set of 10 straws with two brushes goes for about $10.00.

Maybe not the oldest, but possibly the fartiest!

glass straws! never knew they existed. Interesting. thanks @Emeritus

Amazon has many 12mm glass straws that claim to be borosilicate.

It's been charged, prepped, and tried and I absolutely see why people love this thing. I can't wait to accessorize. A double session- 0.3g in a Lobo hits significantly harder than a double-session 0.6g in a Miqro-C.

You can get 0.3 grams in a Lobo? It's advertised as having a 0.2g chamber and a capsule is significantly less than that.

Nah I did two sessions of two different strains with different dominant terps to test out the flavor (first one was myrcene/terpinolene, second was limonene/caryophyllene), so I put 0.15 into the dosing capsule, then another 0.15 after that one was toasted and emptied :)

I made some borosilicate glass stems with marbles and pills trapped inside for better cooling.

dang that's gorgeous. this might be an ignorant question but are there any risks to using third party mouthpieces?
I think at least the first one i posted cited acrylic & titanium on the BOM. Both of those materials have been used with vaporizers extensively.

What caught my eye was how big those were

Yeah they're both gorgeous, that latter one is so long and nice. The hits must be so cool by the time they get to you. I enjoy the bubbler attachment but don't always want to deal with the water for the cooler hits

Agreed I had gotten a few of those little bubbler pieces when i got my Lobo. They are not too hard to fill but removing the water when you are done is a B!itch. Some people think water strips away some taste which may be true, but my take is that after a few bowls the little amount of water in there smells awful like old bongwater that is left over. The reality is very little water is in there too so not as effective as one might like.

So besides the mini ibubblers , you can put little nubs on the inside of the glass tube or balls like High Artisan did above in his post. This creates turbulence in the air flow and cools well. Extra length is also a great option but then goes the stealth factor.

My favorite option is to get more mass into the mouthpiece to help dissipate the heat without having to deal with water & its not fragile like glass and works great.

This is what i want to get one of these days when I'm not getting hit with other new bills:

MMSmetalworks on Etsy. Nothing up for sale at the moment. But this is his Flipdome so i could use it with my Lobo and also with Dynavap. Its all Stainless but still low profile but the mass of the piece keeps everything from getting too hot even at the highest settings.

Yeah that's my big problem. I like using the bubbler but the smell afterward is honestly repulsive to me, and the instructions on POTV site is to blow on BOTH mouthpieces after. I'm not putting my mouth on the bottom side that was in the machine, that's where all that bongwater smell lives and I don't care how long I've been a stoner, I don't want my mouth on that nasty shit lmao. Glad I'm not alone in that being the main reason I only use it occasionally (I do notice that if I use it for a single session, empty it quickly, then leave it alone for like 4-5 days, even that little remnant of water in there doesn't leave that much of a smell, but I wonder how long that works for)

Have you tried the bubbler dry, without water? I think it's nearly as effective and doesn't step on the flavor.

I almost tried it out but wasn't sure if it'd work. With your endorsement, I just might try that tonight! (somehow made it to 29 hours without vaping, will probably go to 30 and enjoy an 11pm with this method. Thanks!)
