I'm sorry, but if you take these people's word for this, you're nuts. They already lied and said it's IMPOSSIBLE to comply with a court order to return Abrego Garcia to the US. Turned out they could all along!
I'd bet money they found real suspects in real human trafficking cases, showed them Abrego Garcia's picture and said, "we'll cut you a deal if you say this guy was in on it". Simple as.
A 15 year veteran US Attorney in that office. This case in Tennessee wasn't even opened until AFTER the Trump Admin started getting shit for Abrego Garcia's illegal deportation. I'm not a lawyer but arresting someone and holding them without cause for months while you desperately look for something to charge them with sure sounds illegal

The liberal vs conservative argument probably worked to get Trump elected but IMO he has been a wannabe autocrat (fascist) in practice since he took office in January.
Almost everything he says and does hurts all of us, our democracy, allies, NATO, former trading partners, etc.. Its probably just a coincidence but it appears he's doing everything he can (everything can get away with) to help his desperate friend, Vlad.
Also IMO, everyone that breathes is his target now, regardless of party affiliation, unless they pay him. IMO no one will be spared.
Note: I had to edit this to tone it down Recently lost an old (conservative) friend of 49.5 years. Also caught Covid for the first time five days ago. Haven't been myself lately. I definitely shouldn't post in a mostly political forum after stopping cannabis
