Wow...

This photo is simply incredible.
It's very delicate. At the same time, it looks like an insect... made of metal... in nature...
Very natural... with a touch of metal... like an organic hybrid artifact...

Add to that the wood of the Vapman and the story is even deeper!

I really like it, bravo!
You're too kind really.
There's a few modified heating elements I won't mount on their heart piece. It'll be up to the addressees to show them complete !

And so is ruby.

Ok just to spare headaches to those who want to do a deep clean : let that mica alone.
You don't need to soak the heart piece and the bowl is better cleaned with soda paste than iso.
Also if you want to apply beeswax in this form (polish), be sure there's no turpentine inside and use cotton, not a synthetic cloth.
Oh and don't put beeswax inside the middle piece. Let the reclaim wax the inside.

Edit : at this point I'm surprised he didn't tried to remove the circlip to clean the click discs and bottom plate individually. I've done it a dozens of times and I find it less hazardous than removing the mica. Especially the top part that is glued (you can see glue stains on the wood when he removes it). The bottom part is held just with the screws.

I use my Vapman 20 times a day and never had the bowl so dirty....I just use an alcohol swipe to it and that is that. I use the Station...never the butane...that is a big difference I suppose right there. All my Vapman's look brand new. I clean after EVERY use. Either with a brush or swab...

Thank you for the video...I am sure someone out there has the same situation.

Not hating on it, but seeing a laser engraved bird does feel a bit lackluster after their marketing teasing. Not a bad deal though.

Dangerous proposals - Treat with limited trust
I almost got heart attack, when he removed screws from heart-piece.

Why?!?
It’s completely unnecessary.
Unscrewing and screwing into wood have very limited count how many times you can do it.

Soaking heart-piece wood in acetone? For what? Acetone purpose is to remove canna-oils from midsection. They not soaked into heart-piece.

Another issue with ISO. “It’s not gonna damage wood”…
It’s definitely will damage wood!!! ISO contains water, that will separate wood fibres. And leftovers of ISO will stay in wood.

And then I got second heart-attack, when noticed the candle.
Candle??? Next to open container of acetone and ISO?
He have really good discount from evolution.
Another issue - ISO and acetone breathing is simply breathing poison.

BTW, is it spliff in ashtray?)))

UPD
I posted the same comment on YouTube with “he/you” adjustment and after 11 minutes video was deleted, probably, without any connection to me, but if it’s the case, and if the original poster is here, I hope, I made all in polite manner. 🙏

Greetings, I just got a notice that the PEACE CLICK is almost all gone...if you have not purchased one do so...they are so beautiful. I did that long ago with the LEAF Vapman and I regretted it (I waited too long) all gone by the time I went to buy one. I finally have a couple of them...but, paid big bucks for them. So, get your PEACE today. You will love it really...

Good day,
DrG

@Dr. G

I love Vapman and I love the fact that the company is still alive thanks to the buyers... but it's the kind of communication that made me stop buying every Vapman or Lotus that came out... (in a way, thank you!)

I remember receiving an email saying there were only 20 copies left of a certain limited model... and I received the same email 10 to 15 days later... as if they hadn't sold a single more.

I understand that to survive, the company needs more aggressive communication and marketing. I respect that.

But it put me off... just as well, otherwise I'd probably have 4 or 5 more Vapmans and 3 more Lotuses...

I still love Vapman, don't I? And despite that, I thank David and Michel, without whom there wouldn't even be a thread!

Happy weekend, Vapman users!

Greetings,

I do not really understand your post. What I am getting out of it is that you think that the fellas at INHALE are unscrupulous.... which is the farthest of who they all are. They do their best and lying to their customers is not an option. You stopped buying their products? All I can say is...your loss.

You still love Vapman? But, you made a huge statement...so, its a mixed signal.

I have been dealing with Rene and the fellas for years now and not once I felt like this...quite the opposite.

Regards,
DrG

PS Whenever you have a problem with INHALE the best thing to do is to write to them and wait for a response. Always communicate what you are feeling and if they are wrong, they will FIX IT. They want their customers to be happy.

You can love a product but hate the marketing. I don't see the dissonance here.
Well...there is. HE STOPPED BUYING the product. There is no harmony in that statement for me. I see it differently.

(This is neither an attack on you, nor an attack on Vapman/inhale. Nothing personal against either of them; I'm expressing my personal feelings. I hope you don't take anything personally. I love your collection and your passion for Vapman.)

It's neither black nor white. I'm just expressing my feelings, which are nuanced.

Yes, I still enjoy using my Vapmans, and I'm really happy that David and Michel took over the company; otherwise, there would only be used Vapmans to buy and no new ones to be expected.

But yes, this aggressive marketing puts me off... even though I understand that it's a necessary evil if the company wants to continue to prosper... or at least exist.

I don't think they deliberately warned me every 10 days that there were only 20 limited-edition Vapmans left... and still 20, 10 days later. I don't think it was a deliberate lie, but it was a business strategy that made me take a step back.

That was my turning point.

Since then, I bought a Click because I wanted to try it... and it didn't completely cure me... but I've easily resisted all the new iterations.

I think I wanted to emphasize this point, and perhaps take the opportunity to alert owners to my opinion.

I assume, reading between the lines of some messages, that other users share my opinion. I also assume we're in the minority! That said, I don't want to hijack this thread for too long... and I don't have much else to say on the subject... so I don't want to generate a debate that would take up too much space...
(So I won't dwell on the contradiction between images of a Lotus in Mike Tyson's hands... and a collection featuring the peace symbol....)

Anyway, moderators: if my post is inappropriate, please feel free to delete it.

✌️💚

(edit: I am myself proposing a transaction where I have completely put aside the ethical aspect so... apart from one client among others... who am I to judge....?!)
