I don't know whether it do or don't and at the moment it's irrelevant.I am feeling the Aerolite has/had the same insulation material .
It should be an industry standard to provide a tear down prior to taking orders. Competiters are going to be breaking the device down day 1 anyway, so can't really use that as an excuse not to do it.Yllvape is going to need to provide breakdown vids of their devices going forward for me to buy them.

Then again when is Stors & Bickel coming out with new products? Or PAX?when you see big manufactures do it, then it might happen
Aerolite has been delayed due to some issues with production and the heater not being up to par.

update 2: for further clarification
"For the improvements, we are working on:
- Incorporating a larger heating element for enhanced performance.
- Improving insulation to ensure better efficiency and user experience."
yllvape shared this:
"For the aerolite, its delayed for the Angus enhanced concern, we will get all replacements done first then work on the aerolite."

The other thread (Fiberglass found in Angus Enhanced) is still locked, while waiting for a response from Mike (at YLL) — and it’s been almost a week now. Still waiting!
I would require a random sample of several aerolites to be tested by a 3rd party. For folks that had been looking forward to the aerolite, what are you thinking these days? If YLL showed a complete teardown of the aerolite, would that be good enough for you? Or would you require 3rd party testing? Or is it, fuck them and never again?
I would trust a teardown video from Yllvape. I doubt they want repeat this again. I’m sure they lost a lot of money making a ton of new devices to replace the ones in the market + the refunds. For folks that had been looking forward to the aerolite, what are you thinking these days? Comparison not allowed. So not sure why I'd choose it over a Firewood, Roffu, v3 Pro for example. Especially considering the price of Roffu and v3.
I think there are two parts to the story. First, how they even used that material, apparently faked testing, and tried to hide the issue with new units without following up about older ones. But secondly, and that's why ILLVAPE is a hard no for me, is how they approached the situation when it became too hard to hide. For folks that had been looking forward to the aerolite, what are you thinking these days?
The thread is still locked, no statement given. It's not that hard to get a lawyer to craft a follow-up statement, yet they don't and make mods lock a thread. That should say enough.
Fair, hence I did already adjust my comment straight after your PM to reflect the reality. Don't see why this needs to be added here, but fair enough, if you feel that's necessary, so be it. This is a statement and not a discussion about your decision.
Most importantly, this thread is about the Aerolite and whether to trust ILLVAPE with its new device. I wont for said reasons.
