I couldn't resist and treated myself to a Vapman Padauk mouthpiece and two Purple Heart Wireless handles. The decision was really tough, this is a wonderful drop! :whoa:

EDIT to ask: Does Vapman come in Padauk? Has René ever made any?
Yes...he has, and I own one in my Vapman Collection...it is a very distinguished piece. Elegant. One of my favorite in the collection...

...every Vapman that Master Rene has made is divine.

Greetings Everyone,

This is an example of the Mulga Wood Vapman (Classic) w/ Mulga Wood Mouthpiece made by Master Rene Balli years and years ago...it is marvelous.

Note: Mulga was according to Master Balli the first exotic wood he used in the early days-20 years ago. It is a very dense Australian wood and this tree grows in the extremely dry outback of Australia.

Greetings Everyone,

What a very lovely Padouk you own Arawfish. Gorgeous. Since we are showing the Vapman in Padouk...here is one from our Vapman Collection...

This one made by Master Rene Balli years ago...

Note: Padauk wood is native to tropical and central West Africa, from Nigeria to Angola. People also call it African Padauk...the tree grows in humid, warm places with lots of rain.

Cheers Everyone,
DrG

Can I dismantle the Click for a deep clean of the bowl? Is it difficult to put it together again with the correct bowl depth?

It's pretty easy with a good screwdriver. There are notches on the nozzles that match the aluminium clamps so you can't go wrong with bowl position.

You can also carefully remove the little circlip inside the bowl with a wooden stick to release the click discs and bottom disc, that's trickier but still manageable, I've done it a few times.

is this thing on?

...as much as I want to, I am going to pass on this. There are too many asswipes wanting to scam me...unbelievable. There is a photo in my avatar and I will post random photos...I am going to keep the collection private as much as possible. In our collection there is everything ever made...there is at least one of each ever made.

The ultimate scam is when my OWN HAND is in the photos they steal from here...I do not post anywhere else other than the fan page...so, as I am writing this there is at least a couple of assholes already planning a scam.

The board administration here is excellent mind you...they are right on it.

Cheers Everyone, be careful with scam artists...

oh man, i'd love one of these. i assume that by not fitting the click they also don't fit the vapman 2.0.
Right, they are the same midsection. I think those mouthpieces should fit if you remove the liner from the V2 midsection. Otherwise you'd need a V1 midsection.

I'm glad they made it easy for you! I almost turned an innocent friend on to the last Vapman scam. (which, to be sure, was pretty obvious in retrospect.)

Has the gold coating of a Vapman ever come off for any of you?
Not for me but I have seen it back in the thread. I think Rene said it doesn't harm function.

I mainly come to this forum for pictures so I’m a bit sad but I understand your position 😢 That collection is so impressive, congrats!
