Hello FC,

Many of you have probably already heard from our email announcement but we are introducing a new battery-free device made from Black Zirconia. This device is similar to our Convector XL but all one piece and ceramic. The look and feel are excellent and we think if you enjoyed the XL you will love the Ceramo. We expect to start shipping in Late February.

Here are the basic Specs and description:

  • Pure Black Zirconia Construction
  • No O-ring Construction for Pure Flavors
  • Ultra-High-Flow (UHF) Stem design
  • Large Heater Plate Matrix with greater extraction capabilities
  • 0.2g chamber capacity
  • Ceramic provides direct cooling
  • Friction-fit replaceable chamber screen
  • 14mm male tapered stem for adapting to glass
  • Modular design with 8mm bore for mouthpieces

The Ceramo XL builds upon the success of our popular Convector XL, taking innovation to the next level by eliminating O-rings and introducing an entirely pure ceramic experience. Designed with precision, the Ceramo XL features a one-piece black zirconia construction, a UHF Stem, and a wide, shallow chamber optimized for effortless “one-hit” extraction.

Powered by our renowned heater matrix technology, the Ceramo XL delivers the most refined and pure convection experience available in a battery-free device.

The spacious ceramic chamber is easy to load and does not interact with induction heaters, ensuring a truly pure convection experience. Its polished interior allows for quick unloading and hassle-free cleaning. The durable one-piece zirconia design eliminates the need for replacement parts, making the Ceramo XL both incredibly low-maintenance and built to last.

@Camouflet Does the stem cool adequetely without any internal cooling mechanism in the stem? Or do we need 3rd party after market solutions?

I imagine it certainly won't be enough cooling for native use with the Super Capacitator. Would love your thoughts on that as well however.

i wish you guys make a ceramo size middle of OG and XL
Just fill the XL bowl 3/4 full 😉. It works really well!

Pretty sure they know what they are doing, have extensively tested it and the cooling will be sufficient from stock. If you look at the listing it says it it fully compatible with all their XL line (including the Ceramo).

Personally, I don't think the Super Capacitor will get hotter than the standard XL cap. Afterall it is getting to the same vaporizing temperature. It just takes longer to heat up and holds heat longer due to its larger thermal mass.

I really probably should not have, but I just preordered one of these babies with a Super Capacitor too. Forgot to add one of the XL tubes to my order though, dangit.

So I am curious if the interior is just cylindrical or is there any internal cooling via fins etc? IIRC there was some of that in the Zooter. Tho probably easier to do that with the clever 2 piece Zooter stem design.

Getting very excited.

Same. We're getting close to that "late Feb." estimated shipping time. 🙂

If it's just a hollow tube, I was planning on trying some cooling beads inside kept in place with a screen depending on whether the ceramic alone provided enough cooling. I'm guessing the ceramic quad bore and single bore condensers for the CXL would work as well?

According to this reddit post, https://www.reddit.com/r/Camouflet/comments/1igb83t ,
it is just a straight ceramic zircona tube with an 8mm bore.

I know someone told me earlier that it will have been tested etc. However I'm still beyond skeptical the hollow tube will cool sufficiently.

Would be easy to fill with large glass balls, and secure with some kind of MP like the DV Omnivap MP for example. So I don't think it would be the end of the world.

I guess let's see.

I think it will fit the DV and Camouflet condensers. It should fit some or most DV or aftermarket mouthpieces, etc.

Any good mouthpiece for cooling you recommend?
If it all fits as I think, you may be able to use Rogue waxworks MP/condensers, or Simrell's mouthpieces should fit, too. Those condensers usually have cooling spirals, etc. I think the Dynavap adjustable ones would work as well (the M's, the Hyper's or the Woodwynd's).

Why use a mouthpiece? You could put a regular Dynavap condenser in there without a mouthpiece, just like the Titanium XL has the ceramic tube.

will the ceramic tube condenser from the regular convector ti fit in this?

Putting a condenser in seems like it would reduce cooling. It would force the vapor just thru a titanium tube rather than letting the larger surface area of the zirconia inner walls of the stem cool the vapor. And using the ceramic tube also seems like it wouldn't cool as well, because the vapor is exposed to a smaller surface area of ceramic--the inside of the tube, instead of the whole inside of the stem. It seems to me the most cooling addition is going to be adding balls inside the ceramic stem. So a mouthpiece to hold the balls inside, is what I'm envisioning

Yep. I'm with you there.

I'm getting a little excited for this thing. I already own a regular Convector and recently watched Lee's demo (from TableTopBong) on how much vapor the CXL can produce with his Wand technique. The regular titanium Convector tastes nice and smooth to me already so I anticipate an even tastier and bigger hit from the CeramoXL.

I think I'll probably use it on a small rig mostly, especially with the new cap. I may need to add a Stinger MP or something for the 10mm joints.
Sounds nice. I'll definitely try it on a dry rig but I'm so curious to see how nice a zirconia bowl might taste on a short-path zirconia stem first. Hoping it'll be terp city.

I know it's not a ball vape but I wonder if the signature will be similar to something like the ZX.
