Anyone know if any news on the shipping of the pre ordered Tornado? Have emailed Vestratto but heard nothing back.
I find the whole release schedule and products on the site a bit of a mess if I am honest. I eventually managed to snag a Tornado about a month ago and picked up an adapter to use...
I did not even know the screen was movable! Does it just easily slide up and down? I assumed there was only one position as no half bowl groove like the DynaVaps.
Lovely. When you say 1/3 - 1/4 position, do you mean just mean part filling the bowl? I've been ill recently so my tolerance is all shot. Had a nearly full XL bowl and it was too much!
The TM2 comparison in terms of extraction is apt. Your technique is a bit like temp stepping with the TM2.
The Camouflet Convector is worth looking at too as it is very joint like. They have the Convector titanium version at a pay what you can offer or the XL if you want the bigger bowl. (Looking at your once a week usage the smaller Convector would be perfect IMO).
You can get slow sessions or big...
There is a Ceramo XL thread you probably want to look at HERE.
Warning, it doesn't make for pretty reading so I ducked out of it for now and will check back nearer release.
My understanding was that late February was an estimated shipping date. It is clearly stated on the site. Not sure what there is to be suspicious about.
I didn't spot that it was marketed as having "ultra low draw resistance" whereas the CXL quadbore is said to have "high flow". Anyway, we are all heavily speculating based on some marketing copy.
If I recall correctly you didn't get on well with the flow of the CXL. At the end of the day it...
I am not convinced that you need any additional cooling. The Ceramo XL is heavily promoted as having no removable and replaceable parts with the simple ceramic stem. That's its major USP so having to add a condenser or cooling pearls takes away from that.
The thing I am most curious about is...
It has been shared on the Convector thread but thought it's worth sharing here too:
This is a foolproof way of heating with the Wand and particularly good if you want to extend your session and sip with the vape.
I still think prefer the 12-14 blinks for heavy hits from the off but I do...
Really like the look of that set up. Would you mind linking to the case and magnet?
I was thinking of picking up the original Fusion wood stem as can be had for half the price of the 2.0 stem. Would this still work as well?
I took portability to mean it fits in a pocket with a small torch. I have taken all of those I mentioned around to a friend's place or out on a hike. Admittedly you do need to be careful with the Vaphit X quartz caps, which can break.
All the vapes come with a stem that won't break easily and...
I did think of the TA but the OP said portable torch powered vape. The TA needs a large torch as it has much a greater thermal mass than the others I mentioned. This doesn't really make it so portable as you can't put a large torch in your pocket.
Also as mentioned it doesn't include a stem. I...
Dani Fusion 2.0 is a great hybrid vape which I personally think has the best vapor profile that I have tried. Very balanced and, depending on how you heat it, there is a lot of ability to tailor the experience.
Bowl size is approx 0.18 but it works just as well not fully filling it. I have the...
