Funnily enough I have always found my old Moka pot to produce really bitter coffee (possibly down to my incompetence) so I rarely used it. I got rid of it as I now have an induction hob and it doesn't work.
Strictly V60 brews for me and I've recently acquired a second hand espresso machine with...
The different iterations of the TRWW devices all have slightly different heat up times. I have the 14mm terpcicle and the 18QC and when I switch between the two it takes me a while before I can dial in the timing.
I would be surprised if your torch is too big for the 18mm as it is one of the...
You can just put it down on a table or flat surface because the metal ring that connects the heater and spiral protrudes preventing any hot parts from coming into contact. Saying that it is very easy to roll so be very careful it doesn’t fall on the floor. I rest it in a glass ashtray which...
I have been using my Ceramo XL with MP and glass balls more and it is overall very good.
Flavor is the best of the Convector range for me. I was expecting the balls to limit the airflow but it is still surprisingly open when filled 3/4 of the way. The cooling makes a big difference too compared...
I have used the V2 a few times with the wand. My wand has the larger opening on the underside so I tend to use that end with all my TEDs as it's what I am used to. I usually insert it on auto mode so the cap notches are level with the red ring. I leave it in there for 8-10 blinks for first heat...
So my half rig arrived with the XL mouthpiece. Feels very off not including one cooling spiral having put so much money down for the device and the stem. I notice they are selling the spirals on the site separately for 8 bucks. Have read that if you order the full rig it is included. Feel a bit...
This is pretty wild. So many questions - Is it not the case that myrcene is the most naturally occuring terpene on all herb? Surely he's trying to chemically manipulate the composition to what naturally occurred when it was grown? Is there any scientific basis that what he is doing going to make...
Picked up a Convector V2 to go with the XL and Ceramo. I figured I may as well complete the set. Will make a good micro dosing option that heats up really quickly and is easily pocketable. I like the small profile and these days it is rare I can handle such a large bowl.
Calling it a tool is generous! It's just small bit of plastic. I also noticed they have it listed on the site to buy - HERE 😂
I just squeeze the fins gently with my thumb and finger to fit and if they are too tight loosen them the other way. My cap stays on after this.
I didn't need to use...
Sounds like following the previous delay and all the kickback they just wanted to get the units out ASAP and some weren't up to standard. I would suggest you reach out to them and I am sure they will sort you out. They've always been really quick to respond to me and provide decent customer...
Kicking myself for being so clumsy, all to try to save 0.15g of herb 😂. I have given it a gentle scrub with some toothpaste in warm water and it’s looking much better. Like others have said it probably doesn’t pay to be so OCD about something you are heating to such high temps. It’s inevitable...
So been experimenting with the wand and single flame torch with mixed results. The torch is fairly intuitive and I find that it clicks twice with the clicks a couple of seconds apart. The wand is a different story. I heated to the first click and was waiting and waiting but no second click. So...
Yes, both the regular and XL mouthpieces fit 14mm.
My understanding from other feedback is the XL mp is long so may not fit some 14mm pieces where there is not much clearance. The regular will definitely fit all as it is not so long.
You are totally right. No screeching with the old camo cap that came with my CXL when used on the Ceramo XL. Looking at the two caps side by side there is a definite difference in appearance too.
The newer cap is on the right. As you can see there is some discolouration and markings despite...
