Here's what mine says on the back: Input: 100V-240V 50/60Hz Output: DC 3~12V-5A Not sure what a standard DC barrel connector looks like, but it looks pretty similar to many other connectors I've seen in the past.

I think I got one of these newer analog controllers, too. I was trying (and failing) around 5 based on some past comments, and I also ended up between 7.5 and 8.5. This controller has a digital display above the knob.
