Phase3 Vaporizers

I’ve been looking to pick up a microdosing bowl because, well, a “microdose” is just a “regular” dose to me. :p:p

Came across this thread and really like the sound of these Phase3 bowls and would love to support this small company!

I’m firmly ensconced in the wireless world now with my Zenleaf, though, so does anyone know if these ZX bowls are at all compatible with the CH Jane injector?

CH does make the swift in 14mm last I saw, which should fit the ZX bowl but I haven't actually tried it myself.

Thanks, HB, kind of you to say. : ) All I can think of at the moment would be like an Ed's Tnt injector chamber or a Sticky Brick bowl. Both are a little smaller inside than like a glass injector bowl so it takes less to cover the screen.

I haven't tried one of these yet but they claim to be for microdosing with an 18mm injector (or a 22mm diffuser):

I have two of these, one 14mm Cocobolo and an 18mm in Olivewood with an inlay. Love these bowls and def for microdosing with injectors but you can fit in plenty more if using a 22mm diffuser.

I also have their Z Bowl for 14 mm injectors ;)

Today I come before you all on the two year anniversary of my Z8, to bow my head and humbly express gratitude to the creator and huge fucking thanks to the vape gods for giving him the vision and fortitude to make this device a reality.

Two years of incredible flavour, the purity of materials deliver an unparalleled experience consistently. I honestly can’t imagine how the vaporization experience could be improved upon in any meaningful way. Thank you so much, Ryan.

🙏🙏🙏🙏

Thanks so much for rocking with the Z Team since the beginning my friend!!

Wouldn’t be here without you and the rest of the Z8 crew supporting my original vision for delivering medicinally pure vaporization!

It's coming soon called the zxxl. It recently completed the pre order process and the first batch is currently being manufactured I believe. Keep an eye on this thread towards the end of the year, start of next year.

Thanks so much for supporting the project my friend, I saw your order come through and I’m super excited to have you on board and to hear your feedback, as one of the true resident PHASE3 experts going all the way back to my glass and quartz days!

Such an honor to have passionate experienced enthusiasts supporting the vision for true connoisseur grade vapor!

@invertedisdead Will you be starting a thread in the portable vaporizer section of the forum for your new portable creation?

I have another portable prototype here that I haven't had a chance to test out yet, but this first initial budget oriented design is not winning my reach test at all lol.

This manual vaping is way too involved compared to just using my extremely trusty ZX haha, I'm having flashbacks of why I created the original ruby ball vaporizer in the first place; and why I got rid of all my other gear I never used.:lol:

I can truthfully appreciate and enjoy a good ritual but I simply vape too much for most of it to be more than a novelty.

Attempting to sway from 100% convection all the way to 100% conduction might just be too drastic for me :uhoh:

Now I remember why I was so over the top persistent about making the Z's truly 100% pure convection for flower vaping.

I'm hoping the hybrid devices come out more in my favor/style.
People would definitely buy this conduction vape, and the dark roasters would love it, but I have to really believe in a product if I'm going to offer it and this one ain't it.

@invertedisdead When I used to use my Vong. I would roast the shit out of the herb with that little thing. My abv from the vong was always dark like coffee or cacao color. I've been using my TA for a while now and really like that. If you heat it just right on the first heat you can get some nice terpy flavors out of it. With the Vong I got a more of a couch lock body high but the taste was a little diminished since I like to push the limits going a few seconds past the click. Anyhow, I look forward to checking out the new portable device in the future.

Thanks for the tip, I hadn’t noticed that Swift. It seems they’ve phased out the Mary and Jane already? It’s a challenge for a layman such as myself to get my head around all these disparate accessories/parts/sizes. :p

Has anyone ever tried switching out for 4mm Rubies in the ZX?

I'm wondering if you can get even more airflow. Would it still have enough calories to crush a bowl? Maybe with a bowl pre heat?

@RedZep I personally have not switched out for 4 mm Rubies. Mine came with the sapphire balls and they work great. In the past on some of my other ball vapes like the CH B1 & B2, I have experimented with changing out the rubies for a different size or with SIC balls to see what difference it would make. The only reason that I haven't done that on my ZX is that I know Ryan has done that for us already. What I mean by that statement is that when Ryan is doing his testing on the vapes during the design process, he has probably tried different sizes and different compositions of balls already. So I am just assuming that he decided on what works best in the ZX. Therefore I haven't even thought about switching them out. My ZX works great as is. And it's actually the only ball vape in my collection that I haven't had to tinker with. But I'm not telling you not to do it, to each his own. I would be interested to hear your thoughts if you try it. Let us know. Peace,

I have no doubts on that to be honest. I figure I prefer half bowls, so I could sacrifice some heat capacity for more airflow. Then again, more airflow could negatively effect the extraction anyway.

I love my ZX, so I'm in no need to change anything. I was just curious.

I use 6MM sapphires in my PHASE3 Z8 😄
It changes not just the airflow but the entire extraction curve.

6MM gems has a wide open airflow and a slower/ more gentle extraction rate which takes longer to ramp up to dense vapor;
The extraction curve is somewhat reminiscent of "legacy" desktops that faded away after the ball vape boom; but retaining an ultra pure and flavorful "PHASE3" style delivery with the inert non metallic construction and externally isolated heat source.

That said I use my old 1st gen ZX 99% of the time, but my Z8 is one of the very few "flavors" I've kept in my vaping arsenal.

One of the main goals is in really trying to make these portables small torch friendly, but the dynamics on this initial prototype need some work.

That said, I did some troubleshooting and discovered an air leak on the joint of my prototype stem causing a poor seal, I rigged up another base and I’m getting better performance now so we’ll see if my opinion changes.

Can someone compare the performance of the Zx and the Qaroma for me?
Comparisons aren't allowed in device threads but feel free to create a new thread in the Ask FC section, or use the ball vape thread:

Does anyone have a window on the release date of the tiered ZX bowl? TIA.

I sincerely apologize for the delays, at this moment I'm not really anticipating anything to ship out until January.

I was told ZXXL's would ship to me by Nov 20 and they are still working on them.

I do expect they will be completed towards the end of this month but with everything going on in December, an early January ship date seems more realistic.

I greatly appreciate everyone's patience during this wait, I'm working every day to make sure I improve the inventory situation so these type of delays don't happen again. Luckily interest in PHASE3 products seems to be improving again so I'm grateful for the new faces following along.

Thanks to everyone supporting the visioning and making this possible.
And cheers to 2025 bringing in some new innovations for your vaping pleasure!

Is the Phase3 coil compatible with the Crossing Technology Micro PID?
