I have one sitting on my desk and the damn thing is just to easy to pick up and inhale.
Try just getting older. "Where did I put it?", "what was I looking for?", and "what should I do now?" will all work to lower your usage very effectively. Never fails.
And don't even start on "why did I come in here?".

I'm only in my 40's and "Why did I come in here?" is already rearing it's head.

As you can see major improvements. The threading is now one piece, and the center pin does not move anymore, built to withstand drops, and getting run over with a pick up truck.
Stronger electronics built to handle anything thats out there.

what are these?? the v2, the v2.5??
When can I order one of these? Ive been dying to get a purple HVD!Omicron HVD.
All three of them look really good. Is the third one the chrome replacement G?
Yes they are the replacement.
Cool, do you know when we can start sending them in?
Thanks
Have you had OF contact customs for you? He might be able to convince them that they are for a new flash light working as a dimmer switch. ....... Good luckoh i mean these will replace the chrome hvds for production run, for the chrome replacements, thats another part thats stuck in customs, along with the Iris Variable voltage Persei Top

2 questions I have though. I have the V2 and was wondering if it was worth it to upgrade to the V2.5 head? And if so what are the advantages? Also (well three questions I guess) what is the HVD and what's the advantages to it?
Thanks

Thanks for explaining my last questions. Sounds like I can hold off from buying the HVD for a little bit since the 1.5 and 2.4 cart due me just fine. I bought my Omicron on last Friday off Delta 9 website and received it yesterday (thank you for the fast shipping). So would that mean I may have the v2.5 top? If so how can I tell?
Also I have questions about the batteries and charger. When I charge my batteries they get really warm, almost hot. Is this normal? Is it better to charge them one at a time or both together?

there is a $10.00 price difference between the 2.0 and the 2.5. so that might be able a way to tell. look at your receipt
if he just bought it last friday.... wouldn't he still have a receipt?? when i look at the D9 website i see there is a $10.00 increase in price for the 2.5 as opposed to the 2.0. so why is that not a good way to know which he received??
If using the too-powerful charger can shave life off the battery, does that mean if you're using the unregulated top, which puts out more power when there is a higher charge, the max-charged voltage is smaller than it could be? (especially using the tiny batts)It's normal, but not really good for them. The charger is really more powerful ('faster') than normally recommended for such small guys since it's sized to cover much larger cells used in other places (like Persei). Keep them as cool as you can, meaning start cold and do both together so the current shares for most of the time.
If you use it a lot, you might consider getting a charger for the smaller capacity guys, something closer to 250 or 300 mA? Doing so will add cycle life to the battery. Charging (or using) them hot will cut their lifespan giving shorter service between charges and earlier replacement.
