Discontinued ThermoVape Revolution for concentrates

Money order is in the mail. Got a TV LV REV and AVA LR atty to experiment with until the top loading unit is available. Gonna be using them with a usb passthrough ego style batt for vaping on the run. I almost pulled the plug on an atmos pen at my LHS but I think this will be a vastly superior machine. Just wish my cc payment had gone through so I could be playing with my new toy sooner.

Wow. We're talking a third or maybe half a gram at a shot? Doesn't that slow it way down from a cold start and make it 'gurggle' a lot? Adding more than .1 grams at a time is something I avoid for those reasons. Also, the only leak into the switch area I ever had was when I'd put a lot in.

If you really put in half a gram, I guess I should give it a try? Right now 'load small and often' is my rule.

Sorry OF i meant 5-15mg

Thanks very much, I feel a lot better now. Kinda took my breath away. I was just looking at a LV (with it's window) wondering if I should even try to fit that much in...... So you're in the same general range I am, ten to twenty loads per gram?

BTW, I've been thinking about the killer hit right after a 'run to dry' reload. You're right, it happens just that way. I'm thinking maybe running dry allows the fresh charge to get sucked right into the (first to heat) inner core? I also have noticed this after cleaning if I dry it completely and I'm careful to melt it in well first, but I'm not sure if it's as pronounced.

Yah I wasn't expecting to load half grams, infact I think that would cause a major deterioration in flavour with the terps being exposed to the heat from the core. I am fine with loading 100mg bb's of concentrate payg style. :rockon:Just like dropping dunks on the ti nail only top loading the rev. Plus anyone who can't get medicated off a few clouds of good errl has serious tolerance issues.

I'd be fine with half a gram if it vaped well and went a reasonable number of hits, but my experience said it's wasn't happening for the 'limiting' reasons I listed above. Although there's a fellow around here who does load about that much (I recall once even a gram?), and uses a torch to melt it down like a guy might with an Omicron....on serious steroids. So I guess some part of me was hoping Tim was on the same course..... Sadly not to be.

OTOH, it's working so well as designed, I'm sure not going to want to rock any boats.....just drift along and enjoy, that's my advice of the day. For those taking notes.

Edit: Hey didn't the Beatles have a song about that? ...turn off, relax and float downstream....

It's funny, I was just about to ask what other people load at one time. I usually roll my dab into a ball that is bb sized throw it in, and then preheat to melt. I am getting about 4 decent hits and then some wispy ones until I reload. Am I on the right track? Also should I use a lighter to make sure all of the residue has melted down into the core properly or is that not advised? Concentrates are pretty few and far between in my neck of the woods...:uhoh: so I am trying to get the most out of the ones I get...

That's about what I load, I think. It's hard to judge so I weighed several, they run from 50 to 100 mg (ten to twenty to the gram). Any chance you can weigh yours?

Anyway, I get about 6 hits typically from that, more for the larger ones of course. There can, of course, be a huge difference between hits with different technique.

I gave up worry about oil on the rim and the like, some stays there full time on the lip, the rest runs back in and gets vaped away. No real net loss/gain scraping down as I see it. 'cept it's a PITA of course.

Yeah-
I'll have to weigh one up sometime. It looks like I am using this the right way, so thanks for the info! OF- I must say that you are a very knowledgable person on these devices and your posts have become invaluable to me! Cheers!

You're welcome, glad someone is reading and benefiting from it....not much fun otherwise.

Cool, happy experimenting....be sure to take good notes....

Looking at getting the T-1 and the conversion kit to make into the Revolution. Anyone use their non-stick tool?

I have one of the non-stick tools. They are pretty cool, but that being said a dental pick would work equally as well. For the sticky iso hash I am usually producing it makes a bit of a mess. I think even a paperclip by being thinner would work better in some situations.

Thaaaaaat being said I am really only talking based on a few iso hash experiences with the device.

I don't think anyone even owns one, they are a bit pricey IMO.........OF, have you used one?
Negatory. I'm a toothpick man myself.....

I've got a large enough supply for a while. Thanks for asking, and you?

I use a large nail that I machine and polish the ends round and smooth.

Hey TV, how about a long metal, toothpick in diameter, poker with one end with a tip like your non stick vapor tool. Maybe have it 2.5x the length of the barrel with about half with the non stick tip with the other half smooth metal with a rounded tip. Just my 2 cents.

Cool idea. How about having the other end shaped to scrape down the walls? Seems to be a popular thing for guys to do.....

As long as it's round and straight there's probably no problem with a handle, but if there's a bend in it or you need to orient it (like you take my lame scraper idea seriously) it's probably better to have it larger with flats (hex?) in the center for control?

Hey Tim! Just curious, how many products do you all have in testing or planned for the future? I don't want any specifics about what is what, just a ballpark figure as to the various gizmos you all have cooking up so I can lay awake at night thinking about all the possibilities for my ThermoVape. Cheers!
