I’ve got two lovely Jhook/Uhook type pieces. The one on the right I had custom made from my good friend goodvibesboro and the stand was made by jkeyes (holds a bowl in the middle and clicks in). It’s a sick piece need to use it more lol. The one on the right is a trade I did a few months ago this one comes from function factory and is a wonderful lil uhook. Both are 18mm although I run the right one on 14mm most of the time it also has a carb in it. Thanks for checking them out.

Oh that gvb with the stand is a great idea! I have been admiring the jlocks for a while now, how does it hit? I was assuming it wouldn't condition vapor as well as my existing dry piece so it was hard to justify on looks alone

I’m not going to lie I was pretty skeptical on it but it’s so good for my butane vapes. It’d rip well for ballers as well but imo the glass gets a lil too hot. That’s why I stand by my vision. I use the marbles on the gvb uhook to dissipate the heat from the baller whereas the jlock with butane vaporizers doesn’t really need any cooling it’s perfect love it!!!

They're surprisingly effective...
Yea I have 2 funktion factory pieces they both have impressive airflow def deserves the reputation he gets.

Oh I just meant hooks in general haha I have not tried the ones from funk specifically myself, but they look pretty great

Is that a glass intercooler in the stem portion or just the design within the glass?
Vapor travels on the inside of the spiral. I just recently asked about option to make holes and full spiral, so vapor is forced around spiral, like a Revolve stem.
After trying the original design, I believe that would restrict the flow too much...besides, it cools plenty just as it is.
Think other style, like Revolve, would be better in a mini version of pipe like that, which I do fancy.

That rosewood is gorgeous. I like how the shape of this one looks a little like bamboo.
Thanks! It's pretty great at cooling too. Just tried it with a wooden CL bowl.

Hey people. Im no expert re J-hooks though by qualification a seasoned therefore fairly expertised, Vaporist

I have numerous J-hooks though.

I liked the 18 mm VapeCritic shorter one vs others but, lately gotten a Lotus kit

I dont use the Lotus atm no need but, the Lotus 14 mm J-hook is brilliant as far as they go.

Hands down my own favourite here. Works a dream with a Dynavap and fat mouthpiece snipped off mouth end.

Like this style, looks larger here but is so sleek in finger easiest comfortable grip too.

However IME far superio, depending always ofc on specific setup, vape etc

I had one, f broke it month ago cleaning, it fell behind glass table pulled out duh!

I was actually gutted. It’s a brilliantly engineered piece I swear. Can manage powerful rigs too somehow unlike opener J-hooks, hence Sebastien modelling it for direct Herborizer desktop use.

I know, I’ll have to replace mine, I yearn more for it weekly.

If you are a fan of the the Lotus style hooks you might check out the ones at the rogue wax works. Similar but with spikes! I love the 14mm and 18mm, the 18mm in particular is a favorite. These are listed as out of stock but I think they poke the spikes in premade hooks and can do it as long as the hook is in stock:

Hey thanks. And I quickly discovered that pretty equivalent models are very available all over, looking so similar, £13 I saw a good one.

If I’m going to J-hook atm though it will be the Lotus one, because that Herborizer Sherlock pipe- I can’t think of words but it is different, unique dynamics makes way smoother Vapor next to any J hook I’ve ever tried, and it’s airfl is as open as need for any right now- i.e. was designed for the very free flowing Herborizer Ti

But for me it was the outright best dry way I used my Dynavaps with Ispire.

I was GUTTED breaking it. It’s nearly £100 to replace you see, but I know I am bound to do it. You see I’d never consider even 25 or even 30 pounds on any J hook.

Just appreciating this angle myself I feel need to emphasise how wicked that Sherlock pipe is IME.
