I like the bottom shelf, I admit I see the value in either. I use the bottom shelf the least but I do use it. I was actually wondering if that would be a weak point myself cause I noticed how low it was relative to the joint. I was surprised how much I like the top shelf too though, especially when I'm using it with my hornet. With the ZX though I'm mostly on middle shelf and occasionally on the bottom. But I would agree that unless you actually start seeing a higher failure rate that it would be better left as is.

oh how do you like using the hornet head on the z bowl? I haven't tried it yet but have been curious. do you run the hornet head at the same temp you would run the zx head? how would you compare the experience to using the full zx?

The z bowl is my go to with the Hornet, I use it as an injector most often and I think they pair together perfectly. They run at pretty similar temps but I'm always playing with my temps. Lately I've been running my ZX a little lower but I also use the 25mm adapter for heating the hornet which may account for some of the difference. I get bored if I don't mix things up so I'm always trying different vapes, bowls, temps, glass, etc.

They both hit really well but I would say it's what you would expect, the ZX is the best flavor but with the smaller rubies the Hornet with the z bowl is pretty damned powerful, especially for a wireless device.
