I usually have content up pretty early in releases
i am serious when a new vape get released they are sent out to reviewers/influencers so you can get an impression of the vape. Not sure if serious... But, how about just waiting for a review before ordering? Shouldn't be long before the first ones are out.
Concerning the extra discount, I understood codes would be send as DMs...
*Three questions I have:
Is the air-intake on the side of the device, close to the oven?
Could it be an option for users to flash an updated firmware or will that definitely be impossible?
Have you drawn the giveaway winner? When will that be announced?

Dejan also addressed it here and it sounded more in the direction of "no, not planned"I'm pretty sure I've seen that firmware is updatable, but I can't find it now... maybe in their FB group?
yeah, I've seen and liked that, didn't answer my intake question thoughThere is quite a lot of info on this page now, including an exploded view: https://www.limelightherb.com/frolic-thermal-extractor
That's a pity, I find and doesn't really fit your anti planned obsolescence drive, imho.Definitely impossible
yeah, I welcome and understand the straightforwardness of your device/the menu, just a little weird to exclude the option completely, especially as you include "although welcome..." - as it shouldn't come as a surprise that in real world use with different usecases and users some handy necessities could/will come up which could 'easily' (have no real manufacturing/programming understanding/experience) be addressed with a new firmware.personally don't see any need for updates although welcome of course.
Makes sense mate. All I meant is that this is a simple device and there is not much you can update/change. Definitely something to address in the future. You don't need to hold it for 5 sec to change the temp, the temperature change increment changes from 1 degree to 5 degrees if you hold the button for more than 5 seconds to accelerate the temp change.Dejan also addressed it here and it sounded more in the direction of "no, not planned"
- which must not equate to 'not possible at all'

I remember the exchange with Shit Snacks in this thread and later on I also addressed it in regards to the possibility of dimming the screen.

At least to my understanding that could address the screen 'issue' as well as what I stumbled upon when reading through the manual: having to hold button for 5 seconds to change temp, for example.
As mentioned, as you exclude the (even future) option it doesn't really fit the 'build to last' claim/approach - just in my opinion, of course![]()
Yea I read that too, which is why it stuck in my head when I saw elsewhere that it is. I appreciate it's not much good without a source thoughDejan also addressed it here and it sounded more in the direction of "no, not planned"

It wasn't meant to, just general info for anybody who might be interestedyeah, I've seen and liked that, didn't answer my intake question though
Ah, thanks for clarification. Either it was just me then or it's formulated a bit confusing or too short thenthe temperature change increment changes from 1 degree to 5 degrees if you hold the button for more than 5 seconds to accelerate the temp change.
Correct, you would need a specialized tool to do it though.Ah, thanks for clarification. Either it was just me then or it's formulated a bit confusing or too short then![]()
K, so it was my cluelessness, assuming these pcbs - or rather the one used - could just be reflashed easily.
Anyway:![]()
