Arizer Solo 3

Man I'm thoroughly impressed with this thing

Battery lasts forever. I had to swap out or charge my Air batteries after 3-4 sessions.

It pulls like a beast.

Tastes incredible (as all Arizer's do).

The XL stem makes it sooooo much better for my higher tolerance. I used to have to go through two stems now I can just session on one.

The on demand mode combined with my bong is *chefs kiss*.

The ability to adjust a lot of different settings as well as get precision temps is really cool.

Honestly, the biggest upgrade from the first gen Air has to be the battery life, though. Impressive how much longer it lasts. Second would be the airflow and bigger clouds.

Glad you're enjoying it! I was also a Solo 1 user. It was my first ever vape and this new Solo3 is just light years better.

I guess the Arizer taste has always been good but this new heater is so much more versatile, agile and powerful.

I asked Grok what the best cooling stem is, and it said Arizer Evolution Stem by Sneaky Pete

Anyone have any experience with it?

Or are the ones sold by POTV better?

420edc isn't an option for where I am.

the AI tools can't really give a great answer for obscure cannabis accessories because there isn't enough source data (reviews). What you see when you ask one of these AIs "what's the best cooling stem for the arizer solo 3?" is just regurgitation of the marketing material on the vendor's web sites.

"best" also has to be defined with criteria? Best at cooling? Best at not breaking? Best at cleaning? The "best" IMHO is a combo of all three, and a bent and dimpled stem fit's that bill for me. That's what I take when I camp or travel with the solo3. When I'm at home, I use one of many glass bongs.

I think the most recommended approach here is to use a WPA and a dimpled sherlock type pipe., but if you need smaller, the bent and dimpled stem is good.

All the bead filled stems will certainly work, and likely will cool a little better, but will be hassle to keep clean.

Yeah, cleaning the beaded stems did occur to me. Seems like quite the hassle.

I'll look into bend dimpled stems.

Thanks, dudes!

Great device. Probably the weed itself but I'm not overly impressed with the taste. The device hits hard as hell. My TM2 taste better, but I have old taste buds.

Try the Starship at Sneaky Pete, it is universal so you can use with solo 3 along with any other DHV

Found the V1 of this thing for 189 CAD and grabbed it. God what a device.
I hope that you and others are not toying with me and my unchecked VAS. I just received my new V2 yesterday and will be testing it out this weekend. I’ve had a Solo2 for years and it’s my favorite sipper when sitting at the desk, on the patio, or messing about in the garage. Got the V2 for before bed one timers to hopefully help with the sleep time aches and pains.

I don't think he's saying you should have the V1 and the V2. I think he's just saying the Solo3 is great. Anyone with the V1 should get the software upgraded to V2; that's free no brainer. $189CAD for a V1 was an awesome price.

No I didn’t think he was saying that, I figured any version of the Solo 3 is a solid choice. I’ve just heard so many positives about the 3 that I hope it’s worth adding to my Arizer lineup (I’m sure it is). Just completed the first step, opened the box…

I noticed resin buildup in my tubes, so I added a filter to hopefully trap it. That filter is a small bud, just big enough that it doesn't fall out. This is an experiment in progress. Doesn't seem to restrict my hits in any meaningful way.

How was it for you? I stand behind my statement lol. It's such a good machine and a complete package out of the box.

Oh for real? Laziness was kind of apprehending me on this one. Plus i don't wanna be without my new doohickey.

Anyone have any hot takes for keeping bud out of the oven? What about cleaning the oven in general?

Agreed!

I like using it inverted so gravity is your friend. Keeps the unit super clean and no risk of bud falling in. I like using mine with the WPA and a j-hook.
If you want to use it upright, you can place a small screen on top of the bowl but I usually just give a little tamp and things are fine although really dry bud could be a problem.

The heater is so powerful you could even put in little nuggets unground and they tend to stay in place. One last tip if you don't want to use it inverted is to take your first hit horizontally. Once the flower is hot and sticky it should stay in place.
