The Lotus Vaporizer

Improving the hand-free indoor setup:

The low temp but long time does produce vapour and flavour. The wood temperature is probably higher however, I notice it has sweated a bit of resin, so I have increased a bit the height.
I wish there were more candle-friendly combustion free designs.
Most novel use I've seen so far! I wonder if you could turn down an alcohol lamp enough for this--I know there are a handful of vapes suited to that (Dynavaps, Rossner's VGTHV, etc).

You seem like a Lotus OG expert...this photo has what version? I see that there is a bigger cap or like the shape is different...what is that one called? There was long and short pipes...a blue color one, a black one, and all silver one...? Can you share any knowledge please for me...thank you.

This is the Italian Walnut Lotus from April '24 on the short aluminum stem. I really only know what I've read around here, pretty much. I never had a Lotus until some months after they'd already gone out or business. From what I remember, the long and short stems were both available more or less from the beginning? The bigger Lotus is the saucer, it has a raised lip. I'm not sure when they were available but it was briefly near the end, I think. All I remember really was that people seemed to really like them. I've never had one but I'd love to someday.

There was also a regular aqua cap and a black one, both painted maple, I think. At some point they released maple caps with black hardware, the first high-temperature Lotuses. After that release they went back to the silver ring but the high-temp became the standard version from then out. I don't think I've seen an all-silver one. Do you have a link to it?

I was told by someone about the all silver...I will re ask him. I have no proof of it. So, the Saucer was bigger right? I would love one of those...thanks for your response. I appreciate it.

PS So you have an INHALE Lotus on an OG pipe...got it.

Exactly. : ) And I think the saucer was a bit bigger. I think the idea was to keep folks from touching the hot metal?
I like it. It looks huge though...and it makes sense what you say about the design. Well, I have been using my blue Inhale lotus everyday. I just love it so very much. I have not used anything else in awhile....no rotation. The design is awesome on the Lotus...it is so easy to use and I get amazing results...I am actually enjoying using my torch lighter. Cheers...GN

I end up using that one a lot too, it's really nice. I do like the Zebrano one a lot too and I love to get the orange ring under the black lights. I like to rotate them, but I tend to get hung up on one or the other, too. Same with my Vapmans.

We are on the same page here. LOL

Also, my Vapman's have become my real 'special occasion' vape. It is just very spiritual for me. I love to use Northern Lights herb in it...it is just another level of high.

Anyway, ENJOY YOUR LOTUS! Live it up!

Same! It’s been my bedtime bowl for the past month or so. With that smooth Vapman conduction, it’s a great lights out session.

More on topic, I did a bowl of Northern Lights in my Lotus on Friday. Def headier and less sedative via convection.

It totally dates me but I love that strain. 💚

My OG long stem with the walnut/black top almost passed the reach test last Friday. The color of the wood, plus the matching black ring, looks phenomenal with the OG stem.

Which stem is this? Where did you buy it?

As @Octavia so wonderfully answered, I make them! This one is my personal "short kiseru", with the beautiful walnut Lotus top. The darker wood and black ring match the bolder and "heavier" looking stem aesthetic very nicely, much better than the maple version.

It's a great combo that makes me happy, and looks amazing on my desk.
