not true. thats an urban myth. depends on the person. i use very good CBD exclusively for 7 years and about 1g per day. made a laboratory blood test 3 months ago. all results were negative for THC. and so do a lot of others i know.

As you say, it must depend on the individual, but also on the flower and probably on the saliva tests themselves. Here in France, where repression is rampant, we advise cbd users who test positive for THC to take a blood test (which is more accurate) to contest the test (and often to recover their unjustly confiscated driving license).

Yeah, I was talking about other plants because, being French, I ruled CBD out of the equation right away.

I imagine that in the United States, you don't go around saying to your employer (probably a government entity): "Uh... wait, I didn't select the right CBD flower. Can we do a blood test instead of a urine test... no, no, I promise I'm not a junkie... I just vape with the most beautiful vaporizer in the world... a wooden one... of which there are fewer than 100 in the world..."

Anyway, with my suggestion of vaping mint or something else, even if it's less sexy than CBD, I removed all doubt 😅

I’m certain this topic has come up but I’ve been struggling to find it. Has anyone used their nomad to vaporize concentrate? Either in combination with flower or by itself? If so how do you do it and how is it?

I have added cbd distillate sandwiched between bud, it works just fine. I imagine thc distillate or other concentrates would also work well. I didn't try it by itself because I didn't want to risk it getting everywhere or dripping down to the heater.

Upside down on a J-hook or a piece of glass, this eliminates any risk to the radiator.

I used the sandwich method in flowers, but you could use hemp fiber perhaps... I've seen ceramic pads recently on FC as well.

I forgot who asked the question here before, but I have vaped homegrown peppermint and lemon balm in my Nomad and it works just fine, though the flavors tend to stick around for a while, so you better be sure you like minty bud afterward... I did like mixing mint and bud as well.

Yes I air dry mine all the way before using it. It does lose some of its flavor when used this way, but with peppermint it's good enough for me since I'm really only interested in the menthol.

Came here to post a little update on my OG Nomad 014, finally took it out again, after having the Toad, used my custom one of a kind blue Phineas stem with it and had some very nice sessions with the high heater despite the old button! Unlocking some very nice flavor as well for such an enjoyable experience, inspiring these new photos:

Nevertheless it is on its way to a great new home, I will miss it dearly, but know that @Razhumikin will give it even more love!!

While waiting for the Nomad 2s to arrive with their new owners...

Happy to announce that Nomad OG #014 has landed in his new home. He's found some friends there and will be very pampered.

It's made of walnut and padouk, with an abalone button. It has a milk-painted pouch.

Thanks to @Razhumikin and @Shit Snacks for taking care of him. I'm happy to be part of his story too!

It received the free care package offered when we arrived at my house.


Then it was reunited with his big brother, from the same lot.
