DIY All-Glass* Wireless Injector Ball Vape with an 18mm Quartz Nectar Collector (*other than 2 metal screens in the injector)

DIY All-Glass Wireless Injector Ball Vape made from an 18mm Quartz Nectar Collector filled with 4mm Rubies - Tests with Deep and Shallow Bowls and a Torch

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I thought I'd share something I've been using for a while; it's effective, tastes great, I think it's pretty versatile, it's also very cheap and easy to construct. I haven't had any problems with it ball-security-wise either.

It's a simple DIY All-Glass Wireless Injector Ball Vape made from an 18mm Quartz Nectar Collector you can find on DHGate for under 10 EUR. Heat it with any ball vape coil it fits into (I'm using a 25mm axial coil in the video above), you can also heat it with a powerful torch for about 30-40 seconds (for the initial heat-up, and around 10 seconds for a reheat within a few minutes). To construct it you just need to cut 2 screens to size to place above and below your balls to keep them in place (I used scissors to cut the screens, I also opt for mesh with the largest gaps I can find). For airflow and flavour I prefer 4mm corundum ruby balls. The depth of your bowl and the amount of flower will determine your temps and heating times.

The airpath has 3 metal screens in it, 2 in the injector and 1 in the bowl. It doesn't retain as much heat as my TIODW wireless diffuser, but I find the flavour noticeably less present with the metal diffuser head.

Welcome aboard

I think you've made a Sand Castle
I made one with a quartz nectar collector too
Works really well but I wish the handle part was a little longer

Thanks! Nice to be here:wave:

Thanks for the info too. Nice to see I wasn't the only one who though of it! Nice that they were also finding solutions for the metal screens.

I was actually using mine as a DIY Vapocane first (the Vapocane is like an all glass Sticky Brick), and put balls in there because I couldn't find good butane. So I was using the balls to try and filter some of the butane taste out of it. The balls did actually make it taste less nasty. At some point I made the connection to ball vapes, but too late for FC!

I don't mind the handle length, it is a little iffy with the torch if you don't concentrate, but with the coil I'm fine with it.

I definitely prefer the flavour over my Ti diffuser, it's been my main vape mainly because of that.
