The Lotus Vaporizer

Not at all! The bigger cylinder that houses the bowl and that the Lotus mounts onto (this is easy to see in @maremaresing’s pictures but isn’t really clear in mine, sorry) has enough thermal mass that it doesn’t get hot while in use, and it’s a comfortable size+shape to hold.

I was originally a bit jealous of the low- and ultra-low-profile pipes they’ve made since I ordered my Petal pipe, but I actually like that this one has the extra thermal mass + surface area for a comfortable, not-too-warm grip on the bowl piece.
Oh that sounds great! I'm intrigued. :)

Edit: I just had a look at his Etsy store and I think I'd also go for the Petal pipe design over the low-profile ones. But they all look nice!

Happy Lotus Friday! I decided to make myself a pipe out of an absolutely hacked up and out of spec Petal Pipe base. With some TLC and "beauty in imperfection" mindsets, I think it turned out splendid and love it's flaws.

Lotus Sunday, because Friday and Saturday were busy. Feat. the fantastic Petal pipe by @maremaresing!

I love the color scheme of this photo; between the tray, lighter, scoop, and lotus. Lots of purples, blues, blacks, and bright white/silver. I know you were iffy about the replacement screws you put in and how they didn't sit flush, but I think it improves the look. The bold black accents compliment the other colors of the cap and plate.

Thank you so much for that review and the kind words! The first thing I noticed in this photo is how the beaten/grain finish of the pipe fits so well with all of the different deeply grained woods in the cap and surface. A well fitting aesthetic, for sure.

Lotus time! Cheers!

Seeing this and all these other pretty wood colorways temps me so much to buy a second lotus top. But I know that is a slippery slope. Even if the walnut/black looks phenom and the maple/orange is very halloweeny/fall vibes.

Thank you! The black screws have grown on me, too; I initially didn’t like how they don’t match well to the heating plate, but you’re right that they mesh well with the dark wood cap and deep blue ring.
