It’s a preorder like any product. When it’s time, refresh and add to cart. That’s literally it.

Whilst taking necessary precautions.. Empty balls into a soup spoon or similar and torch them. Takes a couple of minutes and is very satisfying.
Don't forget everything will be hot when you're done 😉

I have been using mine daily for MONTHS, and I have never cleaned the balls. I suppose I should.

Here's hoping I can get a V2 today soon.

Sorry if this has been asked but will the Tempest 2 stem still have plastic inside? That kinda made me not get the first stem.
Also will i be able to still micro dose like with the half setting Tempest 1 (that im always using and loving)?

Im going to be stuck at work for the drop so good luck to those that are going to make it. Im still learning the V1 head I recently got. So that will keep me busy until the VI kits are available.

I wouldn't be too concerned. Plastic just means a malleable polymer (usually at least) but there are many very different materials under that classification, some are very good at withstanding heat without giving off toxic compounds or breaking down.

I'm sure @Brenyo can confirm, but I very much doubt he hasn't given that strong consideration in design.

I used a big mesh sieve a few times. I did end up getting a tea strainer. I've only used it once, I'll try not to disintegrate it 😆

Taking of sparkly balls, I have been torching boro and rubies. Someone on reddit commented that it could crack them? Do you know if this is true? Sugar soap is meant to work, but I just like blasting them with fire

I've been torching rubies on another device without any issue so far. Corundum has a lower thermal expansion rate than zirconia so if it's fine with zirconia it is fine with corundum.
Boro might be prone to crack under heat stress.
Quartz is the most resistant to thermal shock.
