The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

How can i find out, if my induction heater is strong enough for this thing?
I built my own using this kit:

im running it with a 12v 5A psu.

and two more questions:

- when ordering the beta now, how much will the upgrade be in order to get the calibrated click later on?

- is the titanium version in the beta shiny or matte?

thanks!

@dtrdrk that should work. I made one years ago for a Dyna. Got that way too hot so I stretched the coil like SO.
Right now, it’s a little underpowered to heat the Tempest for my preference (weak click, over a minute with minimal vapor). Wonder if I hadn’t widened that coil.. might be better?

Another thing … can’t really see the cap when it was in there either lol.

For clarity, I know you already answered but will the wooden sleeves be available for purchase by themselves? Or is just the wood tempest as a kit only going to be available

Should be available by themselves both wood and glass like the Revolves. I think there’s 2 wood versions and 4 glass versions from the pre-sale site listings.

Ok thanks I saw the glass ones but couldn’t see the wood sleeves by themselves

It'll only be available by themselves, not as a kit.

both wood and glass
The glass is still not ready unfortunately, but I expect them in January.

I can see myself with a wood Tempest stem collection in the future if you keep releasing different woods. Beautiful work Brenyo. Love the ergonomics on them.
It reminds me of the straight Eds tnt stems for Dyna which I loved but they were prone to the wood splitting, I don't think he sells them anymore.
