https://flic.kr/p/2k4CHui Well thread been quiet for a bit so I hope a double post is acceptable considering time between. I put the glow attachment for it away as chucks like hell with a lighter and if it ain't broke, why fix. Haven't figured a way to micro-dose with it, but do enjoy it with a full bowl. Found some little wooden scoops on amazon, perfect for filling and handle end makes a great tamp tool and were only a couple of quid for 3

I've been using a cherry DLX One the past couple days, and boy, is this a nice little vape. It's got a short, straight heat path to the basket making it quick--and a little tricky--so I switched out the straight "Hot" intake for a curved one from a DLX Pro and it's easy to manage. It hits hard, has great flavor, and it's a lovely piece of work, like any Dreamwood vape. Works well for small bowls with the basket screen or decent-sized bowls with a screen in the bottom. Great value vape, suitable for the inexperienced (with the angled intake), or for micro-dosers (with the basket), or for those whose collection needs a nice little vape.

Maybe a silly question :
At this kind of vape is there not the risk to inhale rests of Butane or by-products of the burning process?
Thx

No, but it is an old one. A properly functioning torch burning clean butane will exhaust water and carbon dioxide. You'll inhale worse driving to work.

Edit: Try one of these vapes--you'll love it. If the torch makes you nervous, read up, or use it occasionally. If you're like me you've probably smoked way too many bowls under the flame of a dirtier-burning BIC. This will be much cleaner.

Which of the dreamwoods you would recomend to " a torchvape beginner"
I am a small to microdoser and like it simple and longliving

If you like to use a water pipe, I recommend these: the DLX One--they're limited editions nowadays and rarely available. Also extremely versatile: the joint you use for the bowl can be replaced anywhere or can substitute another for a different sized bong fitting. You can use a screen for a larger bowl or a basket screen for a small bowl. You can use it on a J-hook. They're the least expensive and most unique.

If you'd like a larger hand-held, this is awesome: the Double Punch. The double punch is convertible from a pocketable portable to a more comfortable home handheld with a longer, cooler vapor path. Either way it works really nicely and is worth the price. Very versatile, simple technique, beautiful object, excellent vapor production.

Their other vapes are certainly worth buying as well, but these two are especially versatile and really unique. Hope this helps.

it turns out that the extra screens i have for the Runt fit the DLX perfect.y.
Thanks shit snacks - didn't realize there's a DLX thread...

Oh yeah, that would be 5/8 in screens, the ones I sent you should fit okay too? Could be some slight variation but as long as you found something that works you can get a lot more of them so you never have to worry about cleaning them lol

And here is the DLX thread, yeah it's not so active, too many threads always too many vapes! But now you can post on topic more about your use in the proper place, glad you are getting good use out of it

Yes, the screens you sent are/were fine but I wanted to have a real stash of screens at the ready.
I also love the Runt but its screens dirty up super fast so I bought 200 5/8" for $5 on Amazon, they're perfect for both vaporizers, and even come in an Altoids type tin.

Thanks to @Ed's TnT for the stainless steel dosing caps! I set this vapor pipe aside when I learned the aluminum caps were not recommended for torch vapes. Finally this wake-n-baker is back in action!

Not sure what thread to post this in, but this seems about as close as I can get.

Has anyone tried the DLX Vapopipe? Really like to know if it works Ok or not. I'm trying to get something that I can mod the airpath to not have wood in it and also have the oven right side up, this looks to be about as easy an airpath as anything I could find to do that with. I just need one positive review to pull the trigger on it, but I've been wasting money on other wood butane devices so I'm a little gun shy without a review. Hope there's someone......thanks.

It works just like the DLX, which can also be used dry, with just glass path, so I don't see why it would not work well for you?

DLX One through a glass adapter into TRWW vaporpipe with kecks to stand or an OGB standing j-hook, etc; glass sherlock Vapor Genie also fits your bill, sounds like.

I agree on the DLX Vapopipe, though, it should work well, all the DLXs do, really.

I wasn't sure because it has a weirdish looking top piece with a hole in it, and I don't know what the hole is for.

I see the hole is on yours too.......what's it for.......I don't have that on my O'Connell or Nova??

Edit: About the Vapor Genie........sorry, I didn't say my exact reason for the Vapopipe.......I'm looking for a wood device that I can hold and vape like I were smoking a bowl. I bought an O'Connell Bong and put an extra long stem on it and it's absolutely perfect except for I can't mod the wood path, and my OCD couldn't live with the oven sideways either.

It mixes in a small amount of cool air to cause turbulence just as it enters the chamber. It increases hot-air contact with herbs, if I understand. Sticky Bricks have them as well.

Oh! Maybe one of those long wooden Peace Pipes (the Club, I think)? He used to be on Etsy but appears to be elsewhere these days.

Yes exactly, sticky bricks have an additional carb hole too, which I enjoy for the extra control ... With the DLX m you can use that hole as well as a carb though it is to help you control with the fresh air more so as cool breeze said... Some of them do not have this, and it means you need to be a little more careful with the torch, having the fresh air intake is a bit more forgiving, some DLX don't have it, and I found it more difficult to control? However it's just a different technique, Piro is direct without any fresh air intake, different setup, and there's the O'Connell stuff too. There are a lot of options really so its tough to decide which one would be best for you, without trying them all, but the point being DLX and vapo pipe should be a good one! I was always curious about VP

I've seen it other places too and it looked like a carb to me also, but this one just seemed in a weird place. Hopefully I pull the trigger on this and a Roasty, I'll have to see how difficult it is to do a bank transfer since that's all they do. I'm pretty sure I'll do it, but I've struck out ALOT lately on vapes and I gotta say that striking out seems to be my cure for VAS, lol. Thanks, appreciate it, will post if I get one.

Yeah that's the game haha I have an early roasty as well it is pretty novel but not really my style... Like the old Dreamwood peace! Yes I think they are designed not to be a carb, so you use the torch more, distance and inhale and flame size, but play around for whatever works for you!

I have no trouble with bank transfers, but it depends on your bank I guess, there's usually a process for international transfer, but it's worked well for me with Collyland and Lamart at least
