The Dani by Battery-free Ganz

Vape swap shop
2nd go.

I pushed it past the click a bit. Maybe 4 seconds. Bigger clouds, like bigger than you would get from a vapcap. It seems hard to combust. Still finished the bowl in 3.

There's more convection than a vapcap for sure. This is a true hybrid.

This makes me want to buy a anvil now. Damn VAS.

Waiting semi-patiently on mine now... ordered through a friends zuckergram & the dani-maker really couldn't be a nicer dude- smooth sailing & even went out of his way for me, like someone else mentioned though vietnam post is painfully slow (at least for me), its been a week since it shipped & it hasn't even left the country yet, I'd highly recommend getting dhl or fedex if at all possible (i couldnt coz im in a remote area & it would've been like 75usd:uhoh: while vietnam post was 25usd)
Pretty keen to get this baby in hand ive got a feeling the dani might come closest yet to the vape experience I've kinda always been chasing- replicating a combustion bong hit, how we do em in oz anyway which is pull a cone in one go, i think in other parts maybe it's common to take multiple hits off & even share around a single cone/bowl? but that's not how we do it. Keep the awesome pics & vids coming guys!

The Anvil is a tad superior to the Dani, especially if you're using it through water because of its open air flow. For native use I prefer the Dani for its cool vapor and more balanced in the hand feel.

My second order was only scanned once and arrived in fifteen days, exactly the same period of time that took my first order that was scanned every day. This is a lifetime vape that can produce tasty, thick vapor at a phenomenal price point. Well worth the wait.

My cap has got stuck!. Won't budge. Any tips for getting it loose?
I encountered this, freezer for an hour, then pliers. I'd also get in touch with the maker. The cap I originally got I'd have to turn back a half rotation otherwise itd binds. With this new cap, I can tighten as much as I want, when I heat it it's not gonna bind.

Side note, I am loving this thing. It's kinda replaced my couchlog. They both do the same thing, let me crush a bowl outside, but the Dani is just more enjoyable for some reason.

I eventually got it off. Moral of the story keep the threads clean and the cap slightly loser.
I always screw until it stops, the back off half a turn.. Never have to worry. I do not think having it fully tightened makes a difference.

@maremaresing You were so right about this... it's sublime cooling. I got this courtesy of my bud Grover over at soothingvapours.ca, and I believe he has more on order in case anybody would like to try it (highly recommended). You'll need a couple of 12mm outer diameter, 3mm thickness orings to mate the tip into the maze pipe.

Hi, Perfect_Speed4069, thanks so much for the link I've been looking for these rings.. do you mean these ones though (same seller?)

these state they are 9mm inner diameter and 3mm thick for a total of 12mm outer diameter I'm guessing? Just looking to confirm as I'm Australia so want to make the right purchase... thanks for any help you might be able to provide :)

Kind Regards and many thanks,

Good to see BFG doing a WPA for Dani, though i just missed out on it having ordered & waiting for my dani already, I wonder if the dani tip fits in the WPA directly w'out a stem or if its just for the mouthpiece end of the stem, coz im kinda hoping to find a low profile setup for waterpipe use that eliminates the stem. Have you guys found any other ways to achieve that with any other easy to get parts that you could recommend? I probly should get one of those universal WPA's ive seen on here thats able to be used with many vapes, anyone know if/which of those will fit the dani tip?
Oh &, just to confirm, the v3 metal stem can be used as-is as a WPA- albeit just making a higher profile that (depending on your piece) puts the hot tip up nearer your face- right?

I can send you the ten 9mm ID ones I purchased by mistake for free of you like ;o) I now have the 6mm ID ones on order after watching Mr Buddery's excellent instructional video and realising I needed to account for both sides of the o ring in my measurements (6+3+3=12).

I won't be in a position to confirm these are correct for 5 days or so, so perhaps others can offer a view..?

I haven't seen a wpa option yet, do you have a link?

Ah ok so you have to replace the whole stem then.
That's what I'm hoping. Why would you still want/need the stem there when using it through a waterpipe? Just adds unnecessary extra surface area for vapor to condense on & an extra item to clean, plus makes it more clumsy with the extra length I'd think
I reckon there might be a chance the WPA bit will fit the steel stem too.
But doesn't the steel stem already have a tapered mouthpiece that functions as a WPA?:hmm:

yo folks! i have a question... do you have any idea what this is...
if i am heating the danivape up and place it on a magnet to cool it down there is a strange brown-ish leftover exactly where the opening of the top of the cap is... that same hole as the anvil.. where the bimetal is underneath. i think it comes out of the hole because it has the same size. you can easily swipe it off and there is nothing visible on the fingers then.

dani is fairly new and only used a couple of times. cap was never cleaned like the dynavap caps (thought its not good for the disc).

i am a bit worried...

My Dani needed multiple cleanings before the cap stopped discharging weird brown/black stuff.

I posted it up on Reddit the QC was sub par for a 3rd revision of a item and got down voted and told "of course you clean your vape before first use - you just a idiot"

No shit but I had to clean it like 5+ times before it stopped discharging weird things, I also had crazy burrs and a huge spiral chip in the grooves, also at the time I quickly viewed the thread and it seems like they knew about this dirty under the clickers and introduced a new cleaning process for v3, well it didnt help much imo
