On YouTube, I’ve seen that Troy has the Troy and Jerry show as well as Troy 420, which he’s been posting daily live sessions. This was from his Troy 420 stream, yesterday. Honestly, I also watch it on YouTube, but on the stream, Troy mentioned that he’s trying to move to Twitch, which I why I shared that link instead of YouTube. That said, I think you are right and we’ll see Troy show off his new masterpiece on the Troy and Jerry show tomorrow.

They covered the Nomad 1 and Okin with actual physical units of both and discussed the Nomad 2 using Dan's mockup in this video:
I got too distracted by the repetitive mispronunciation of the word "lichen"...LOL. I think it was a good intro vid for the uninitiated but confused by the comparison to the TinyMight and I also disagree with the statement that the Nomad 2 is more of an art piece. The Nomad 2 definitely benefits from the aesthetics for sure but saying that disregards its performance which is extremely good once your technique is nailed down and based on Troy's comments, it doesn't seem like his unit has been used enough to dial in technique...his seems more of a shelf unit that a daily driver (which is what mine is). Beyond the performance, the device is made exceptionally well and I truly believe that it will last until 18650s are no longer made. It is a very solid device and hard to truly appreciate the details until you have one in your hand.
I do concur that the Nomad 2 operates similarly to the Milaana but refined in every way imaginable including performance.

I 100% agree with your sentiments on Troy's opinion and video of the Nomad II.
I don't quite think he's the best person to get a "review" of the Nomad through - admittedly only using it a couple times throughout a whole year one thing.
Besides that, he's more of a heavy hitter type of guy and although can appreciate the art of the Nomad, from what I've gathered, it's not really his cup of tea type of vape so I guess I actually wasn't expecting anything other than what he said.
*Not saying the Nomad II can't be a heavy hitter but from what I can tell, this style of vape just isn't ever going to be his daily driver.

As far as the comparison to the milaana, is the nomad able to one hit a bowl with some practice in the same way my milaana was able to? I generally prefer short sessions like what the nomad seems to give but I occasionally will do the one and done type of rip as well so I'm hoping I'll have that versatility

If you do everything just right you can. But you can also just take another hit or 2 right after the first in less then a minute

Yea. I like that punch you get from a bigger hit sometimes but I'd mostly do those short sessions
I agree as well. I do hope he does a longer more focused review of it though, after some time of use of course. I think it would be hard to appreciate any vape when basically just opening it up and using it for the second / third time.

In my experience it’s not difficult to clear a bowl in one hit with the nomad high heater once you dial in technique. You can’t clear a bowl as quickly as you would with a milaana but if you wanted to, you could clear a bowl in under 30 seconds including preheat. Hope that helps.
