I tried the Junior intake straight on rather than at 45 degrees and I prefer it. I can finally see exactly where the flame is. The perspective was off when I was looking through the side of the glass at 45 degrees and aiming was a challenge.

Thanks for all the advice and assistance with my decision making process, Iā€™ve loved reading through it all and seeing how much people love their sticky bricks. Makes me feel like Iā€™m definitely on the right track getting one for myself

@Grass Yes those two bricks are absolute beauties! Although it made my decision harder once I saw just how good both look. Maybe you got a point with the ā€œget bothā€

Iā€™ve finally settled on Black Limba for the wood. Hearing that particular wood may not be around longer has made me decide I need to get that first

The more Iā€™ve been putting emotions aside and thinking logically about my use cases, the Junior keeps coming out on top - the compact form factor coupled with not having to worry about exposed glass inside a backpack is huge. Iā€™ll probably dip back around for an OG at some point though, either in padauk or walnut

Now just to find a good deal! Iā€™ll keep you awesome folks updated on my sticky brick journey, I appreciate all of your input and itā€™s been so helpful

I'd like to pick up some screens for the SB Jr locally.
I'm sure this gets covered regularly but does anyone know if it takes .625 in or .750 in screens?

Yo, Scott still apparently has a Leopardwood Maxx, and it's 20% off through the end of April:
