Ispire Daab

So far the daab has been awesome, working on my technique. Gotta watch more videos. I did not clean my cup well. The provided Q-tips with alcohol did not do the job. I could use pointers on temperature control, burn off, and how best to keep it clean.

Cleaning...do not keep hitting the unit until the floor of the banger is completely dry and q-tip while still hot. If I do char the load by hitting it too much, I will soak in warm SimpleGreen to loosen any carbon and q-tip every few hours until clean, I do not advise torch cleaning as I have had 2x cup failures by doing so.
Temp Control...the unit actually uses time to figure out temperature. The best way I found to not overheat a load is to wait 3 minutes between heat cycles as this gives the banger time to cool enough for the time based system to not burn your product. I have not tried using the unit for burning off carbon deposits from the bangers, I only did a few empty high temp runs when I first opened the new unit to help off-gas any plastic smells.

Thank you! What do you mean about not keep hitting until dry? I should stop before it’s dry then clean? Also, do you only use the auto function? I’m trying to learn manual, it’s all so new to me.

After each puff (I load pretty big dabs and get multiple puffs/heat cycles from it at 450-485f), look at the floor of the banger, it should still look like a puddle or at least a little wet/shiny, you do not want the floor to become completely dry/matt. You will learn by vapor production/taste when the load is getting low after a while and not need to keep checking by sight. I am still charring loads by reheating too many times and thinking the floor still looked wet enough when it was not.

I met Scott from @VGOODIEZ a couple years back at a Champs convention in Las Vegas. We had many sessions together over that week. I didn't realize he was studying me to groom as a future customer. Since then three separate times he has come to me and said, "I have something I know is right for you". He has been spot on! The two flower devices I got are awesome, the herbalizer and DCE. This is the 3rd device he has recommended to me.

I am primarily a flower guy. I have not been able to figure out concentrates but get them from time to time anyway. I am afraid of the bangers and torches. I know I'll catch my hair on fire. I got a couple of the most well known all in one devices, one battery operated the other torch. The problem I keep having is my technique sucks. Took me a while not end up with concentrate on my fingers, shirt, and hair.

My big problem was my cups/bowl/banger would end up so dirty and I couldn't figure out how to clean them. I'd end up buying multiple cups and ruining them quickly.

I bought this daab on his recommendation. I had discussed my inability to keep the cups clean on previous devices. There is a video he posted here that shows you how to clean. When I got the device he contacted me and said, "next time you do a daab either do it with me while watching the video or contact me and will walk you through it. Pretty nice service.

WORKED! Thank you!

Dirty cup on left new cup on right. Dirty cup has had 7 grams through it. Old me would have had to throw this out and move on to the next cup. I am still on the same cup I started with! I can still read words through the bottom. This is a huge difference for me and cost savings.

Tastes just as good as the other all in ones I have but I like this one better. I like the glass for it more, I like how solidly it goes together, I am going to like not having to buy new atomizers.

There is a difference in the carb cap, as others had suggested, from the kit and the replacement.

Happy with this and appreciate the help I received.

Are we just gonna ignore this bad ass dab station in the pics, or did I miss the who, what, where of this in an earlier post? Excellent set up.

Mine just arrived the other day, fantastic device. Seems like it will really help conserve while appreciating great flavors and still getting huge hits!

I was a bit disappointed to read here that the temperature is actually just a timer, but it makes sense as it doesn't change as the device heats up. A bit of a shame in my opinion but I've been using primarily it on manual mode anyway and hitting it by feel.

Anyone know if there's a way to turn off or deactivate the light?

I am really hoping a quartz or sic cup comes out, as well as some aftermarket glass or different piece options.

anybody use theirs for dynavap? I'm wondering how that works

I have 2x rooted cups from cleaning, cannot load pics but it seems some condensation got in them and they 'popped' when heated hard...warranty replacements are on route.

SiC would be great...not blown out any of my SiC Dablamp cups :2c:

I really hope to see some secondary market glass for the Daab. I am in love with this device, it is perfect for me. Would love to compare it to the Core 2.0, but for me it is doing everything right.
I have a core 2.0 coming. I too am looking forward to this comparison. Daab is a daily driver for me but I'm really hoping the Core brings something different.

See the post at the top of the page (#126). Maybe somebody should start a thread?
I will just say this is the DAAB thread and my DAAB cost about the same as the Core 2.0 even with a spare bubbler, 2x extra cups and carb chap chucked in with the DAAB...it pays to shop around at sale times as I know others that have got the DAAB on the cheap also. :2c:

I am still trying to work out a way to get/use a SiC cup for the DAAB, anyone else tried or thought of a possible way?

yeah the only upside to the core I can see is the options for different material cups

Hoping a sic or quartz cup comes out along with custom glass

Art is beauty
For cleaning in the inner cups - I use Dark Crystal for the Wand inner banger cups. As soon as I'm done hitting I take 2 q-tips and spray with Dark Crystal and wipe out. No residue at all. Dark Crystal is plant based and is non-toxic!!

What's this about the replacement carb cap being different? The way my stock cap fits and sticks to the cup in between sessions is what's kept me from using the daab daily. Is the replacement one better?

Good Day All. Daab still a hand reach away and used nearly daily.

Can someone measure the newer carb cap length? I’ve got one of the 1st batch I’d suppose but not sure if my cap is the right one.
