Sticky Brick Labs Vaporizer

As far as wear is concerned, I wouldn't think that it should matter amongst these, but I will say that colored woods tend to darken/lose their color over time. I'm not sure how the Padauk would hold up, but the purple heart may eventually gray back in color. The cherry, on the other hand, is a wood that is known for aging nicely; it will deepen and maybe even get warmer in color over time.

Found this link when I was researching wood types and aging:

Hi.
I got a problem with the payment of an order on the StickyBrick site. I tried to reach them since friday 19th through the support mail, facebook, twitter and direct message here. They are holding $ 240 of my money, there is no communication with them and the order is "Declined - Awaiting Processing". I read that StickyBrick support is amazing but for me it's pretty lacky. I love their products, but I don't want to pay double for my HydroBrick Maxx.
Is there any way to get in touch with them?

Did you try quoting him there ? @StickyBricks ?
My OG rocks ! You'll definitely need one too ;) !
I sent them a PM in here as I wrote. Thanks to quoting them because I didn't know it was possible.
I got the HydroBrick Maxx because I love how I can use it with water and dry. It's my last vaporizer I bought but it's my favorite, and without intake glass tube unfortunately is useless.

Doesn't solve your immediate problem, but a Hot Rod would work very nicely in place of that intake block.

As much as I'd like to have the Hot Rod, the problem is that there is $240 of mine on hold, not that the intake glass tube is broken

Currently i have a Runt and an OG. 99% of the time I'm using the OG as I have an overall better feeling with it. Now the black Friday offers come in and I'm thinking about getting another sticky brick. Would it be worth getting a Maxx or is it just the same? What are your experiences?

I use the Maxx daily as a base for whipped glass, whip and MP, hydrotubes, ice coolers, etc. With the mouthpiece it hits similar to the OG. I like it best through hydrotubes, but it's a real pleasure with any water piece. The Hot Rod works great with it. The Maxx is awesome if you like going through water.

That's sounds promising! I recently tried my Tinymight through water and thought I would like it less. Are you using the glass jars as well or was it just a nice idea to have them?

It's a nice idea, mostly. But I think if you pack it up and take it to friends' houses or away for the weekend, they'd have more utility. The lid makes a nice little base for the jars, toothpick, a little Mag light, funnel, other little tools while you're using it.

I got my brick and I can already tell I'm gonna love it. I had the eureka moment only after a few tries and got it going pretty good! Pretty pleased with myself. However I was trying to clean everything out before I used it and I was having trouble getting the screen out? Any tips? I ended up using it anyway without cleaning the screen lol, oh well couldn't wait!

Lol, awesome! What wood? Pics?

One thing you can try to get the screen out is to push it down in the middle with the tweezers or a pen or something, and as you force it down into the hole, it'll tilt to one side or the other, or both sides will poke upwards, and then you can grab it with the tweezers and remove. Or, get a dental pick cheap on amazon and just grab the screen with that. The pick can be used for other scraping/poking/cleaning as well, so it's a good tool to have at hand.

A storz and Bickel brush or my favourite a magic flight brush end gets my screens out without damaging then tweezer out so I can iso soak rinse and re use the official screens. As I’m sure you’ve heard a clean screen makes quite the difference. I also bought a bag of screens about 1000 from Amazon and there not quite fine enough so you need 2,and that works but I only use these screens as a back up if I really need 2.

This worked! Thank you so much.

Also I'm probably late as hell to this, but did anyone see Troy use his flowerpot to heat up the brick? Might have to try this lol

I opened a clip and with the metal wire I shaped an "L". With the short part i pop the screen from the bottom inserting the opened clip in the little hole.

This issue has been resolved. I got my money back and all went for good.

Hello, Stickybrick haven’t replied my emails. Are they running out of business? I need an air intake ASAP..

That’s too bad, some vendors have parts though. I don’t know which brick you have.

Here’s a couple.

Tks, but I am out of the US and it seems like they are having pbs with CC payments.

If I don’t get news, will probably order from them. Tks

What is your experience with the air intake? I already replaced three of them. After 1-2 months of use they crack... trying to reach Stickybrick but they don’t seem to reply...

This is where you can get spare parts from if you are in the EU (maybe just tell us where you are located to find the right shop for you ;) )

wow that doesn't sound right. I've never heard of this before. Has anyone else experienced this? What kind of torch are you using?
