DrDabber Switch vs Puffco Peak Pro vs Daab

I have had a Puffco Peak Pro for a while and was really enjoying it but it has developed a fault and died. My Aussie seller has said Puffco are no longer posting to Australia (SPEWIN')and that he would offer me a refund or give me a DrDabber Switch as compensation.
The DrDabber is more expensive so I would be ahead there but I have 2x bongs, spare attys, bubble cap and travel pack for the PPP so the credit could go toward getting another Peak Pro...somehow.
Does anyone who owns both want to weigh in?
Or should I just get my credit and buy a Daab (I am pretty sure I was going to get myself a Daab anyway)

DrDabber sale price for Switch is same as Daab, $300.

Can't speak to the Daab, but I'd definitely recommend going the Induction Heater Route. No atomizers to mess with, and better quality hits than I've ever gotten from an atomizer rig (Source Vape, have not tried Puffco which has always seemed overpriced for what it is to me). And having to deal with atomizers is just a pain. Another option that I have and love is the iSpire Wand. $129 from VGoodiez right now for Black Friday sale. Wand also excellent with a Dynavap. (Tho neither Wand or Switch are particularly good with flower on its own).

Not sure if they ship to Australia, but Cream City Vapes is having a pretty great Black Friday sale at the moment.

As for the Daab, personally, I'd wait until reviews start rolling out. If you want to wait for that, maybe grab a Qomo. Really inexpensive and pocketable tiny dab rig that just added Quartz attys. And due to size and portability, likely something you'd continue to use even after deciding on Daab or Switch (or yeah, maybe Puffco...).

I have a Dablamp in transit.

I have a Wand, that is why I want a Daab!

I have sent them a request (non-US customers have to ask!) to purchase another Puffco Peak Pro as they are on sale.
maybe grab a Qomo.
I got a Qomo with the new quartz attys, it is great for single small dabs but it gets a little hot even on low, and less than 1/3 the size dabs are possible in the Qomo than in the Peak Pro.

Starting to think I should not bother with the old Switch and just get a credit ready for new IH gear and just get a Peak Pro later when I can at a fair price...

I was actually thinking Cream City sale price for Switch, if their shipping costs are lower.

Ultimately Switch is my favorite electric dab rig. Love the glass options. Especially the pricy one from Mav. Old is one way to describe it. Known quantity with established track record is another.

I also worry about the likely lackif aftermarket glass options for Daab. While Dabber sells bases for Switch glass that glass blowers can use to make custom Switch attachments.

I know they have made slight adjustments to the Switch over the years but I think the UI is in desperate need of an update. I would have thought a Switch 2.0 would have been out by now, nearly as bad as S$B Mighty in that regard.
So I have talked myself out of getting the Switch as a replacement (just too big) and have asked for a credit for my PPP instead, more than enough to cover the Daab US$255 price (after discount but I think Sourcemore will have it cheaper) if I get one.

What about the UI doesn't appeal? Fine grained temp adjustments and super basic and easy to learn color scheme. What am I missihg?

You do you but I am a bit puzzled by that comment.

More i think about it, the less the metal/glass integration doesn't appeal on the Daab. Though still decent odds I grab one once bank account recovers from Hot Rod and reviews are out.

Throwing out another one, do you think it's worth me grabbing a Core erig if I already have Sai+ quartz and titanium buckets and heaters, to use with this peak recycler... When the Core 2 is apparently around the corner?? Compared to daab and wand (I have the lamp and meh in it though it is fine)

Haven't tried it but I just don't like having to mess with attys.

easy to learn color scheme.
And just as easy to forget...like about 5 other vapes I own, pretty easy to get mixed up...lcd screens are cheap.

V2 are usually better!
I had about 800 dabs on my Puffco Atty with no problems (some peeps report over 3k), just makes it easy to clean being able to pop the whole atty out and into iso.

I would like a Puffco Peak, but the price is a bit more than what I would like.

Should I buy two or three crappy units trying to find something like the Peak, or should I just go for broke and buy the peak?

Seriously, is the vapor smooth? Doing shatter/wax makes me cough.

Same story where I advised you to just get a Mighty due to your likes/dislikes with all the different herb vapes you have purchased...the Puffco Peak Pro does most of the work for you and feels ultra premium...get the Pro version not the OG :2c:
Just got a DabLamp today and I have a DAAB on pre-order so I can make a more informed answer once I get and use them all...I doubt anything will be as easy to use as the Peak Pro though but will have their own quirks to work with.

This looks like an interesting unit, but it probably isn't even close to the Puffco....

This unit is aesthetically pleasing, and the carry case looks slick.

I really like my pro. Simple to use and feels quality. I drive it very carefully.

I really like my Daab. Simple to use and like some others really dig IH heating for dabs. I drive it like a rental. Push it to the max. Cold start, hot start, timed sessions, manual heating, it’s all good.
