So i left my POTV ONE sitting in my closet for 2 weeks while i was on vacation. Came back to see this white powdery residue built up.

Definetly not the vapes fault.

What do you think this is? Mold? Been vaping for 13 years, never had this happen.

It appears to camera view as fine white sand.
  1. is it gritty?
  2. is it silky like talc?
  3. is it water soluble?
  4. How does it act with vinegar?
  5. How about with water and baking soda?
  6. If you've the courage.. take a grain or two on your finger, and taste it.
  7. What does it taste like?

Well, due to the horror i felt seeing it, i immedietly cleaned it up with iso. It appeared to dissolve quickly in the iso. It was silky like talc.

Before i left it for 2 weeks and this happened, i brushed it out well.

This topic might have been better in the Ask FC section. I dont want people thinking it's the vapes fault.

I would have to guess it is a fungus but i cant imagine why it would grow right there and not in the mouthpiece or mini bubbler.

Right, that was my first thought, mold, second thought was battery leakage, but not realistic. Was there bud left in the oven for the two weeks?
POTV's customer service is excellent, I'd send the pics to them to ask them what they think. I think you'll get a pretty realistic answer.

Nope, it was completely empty for 2 weeks. Good advice, thanks!

Btw i started a thread in Ask FC to discuss this. I don't believe the POTV ONE vape has anything to do with it.

I would guess no. The oven is bigger on the Fierce and will be too large to fit in the One. I can’t say that I am 100% sure, but 98.3% sure.

Hi, been looking at the dimensions of the potv one and from what I've seen it's 3.2 in / 8.1 cm tall. Is anyone able to tell me if that includes the stem? So the actual unit itself would be maybe an inch or so shorter? Thanks

Just a guess, but maybe the same slide system as the HR Edge just introduced?

Does the new slide in accessory work with the old version of POTV? I found that the attachment is hard to remove and it doesn't feel reliable after regular use.
I dont know for sure but my understanding was No. They redesigned the plastic body and mouthpiece to add rails that the new mouthpieces would slide down into and magnetically stay in place with.

Shame. I just bought it a few weeks before this new version. The mouthpiece is hard to peal off the body and it doesn't look like it'll last long.

So, I sold my old ONE a year ago in excitement for the release of the V3Pro. Got the V3Pro on Black Friday but seem to be one of the few people that didn’t enjoy it.

I used POTV’s awesome satisfaction guarantee and exchanged for a Starry, hated it 😢. They ended up giving me a full refund.

Shout the fuck out to POTV for some of the best customer service out there!

Ended up buying the updated ONE 😂 and have to say the improvements are awesome and it still holds it’s own just fine after all these years.

A lesson to be learned about VAS in this story. Will I ever learn? 🤔

Do you vape cbd in the POTV?

From what I’ve read, cbd flowers leaves those types of white stuff
I have never heard this. I include a lot of low THC flower in my blends and I have never seen any of that white shit. Do you have a link explaining what could that could possibly be? Cannabis is cannabis as far as I know, despite the weird obsession that the US DEA has with THC.
