Yocan UNI Pro Box Mod Fits ALL Oil Cartridges

I pretty much only vape liquid live resin carts in mine and almost never take mine off the lowest setting of 2.0v - it’s possible the inlet holes in your cartridge aren’t optimal for the oils viscosity?

Make sure to keep the cartridges upright, what often happens is air bubbles will form in the cartridge which will prevent the oil from properly wicking in, leading to dry fires - it’s very tempting to increase voltage in this scenario however if you’re dryfiring that can easily burn the cartridge.

Also with any ultra refined oil make sure you’re holding in those hits for 10 seconds if you can to increase absorption, otherwise most of the goodies will be donated to the atmosphere on exhale.

Hope it helps, cheers!

Thanks for your comment.

I like to run the preheat mode when running through my water pipes! Just double click and rip, no button holding!

Same price I got it for here.

I like the vape a lot, especially for so inexpensive. Very adaptable.
The magnet attachments for the Yocan Hive, Hive II, and Flick work in my UNI, albeit a slightly shorter magnet.
I like the longer magnet as the carts I have been getting are kinda short, even at the highest setting. Not TOO short, but I wouldn't mind a little more height.

Being my first cart battery I don't have anything to compare it to, but the Uni is very easy to use with very precise temp control. I have left it at 2.6v as that seems to vape well without any burning. Only 2 carts in, the first being a Live Resin and the second being an oil cart. Had to drive down to Tennessee and I wanted to bring something virtually invisible, and it was just what the Doc ordered...

I couldn't help myself. I had to try the LLR carts, so I've got two of these on the way. Seems to be the number one choice for a reason. I have two carts ready to go and the batteries should be here in 12 hours or so. Any tips or tricks are appreciated.

I can vouch. I had been using the older Uni for about a year without problems. It had been my most reliable, versatile, and go-to battery for carts. I recently bought the Uni Pro on a Black Friday deal for < $20 shipped (it took 13 days to get from the USA Midwest to the USA Midwest lol).

The Uni Pro is aesthetically very similar....but functionally even better...virtually eliminating anything that I could have complained about the already great previous version.
(1) Battery level indicator....awesome....need I say more?
(2) PRECISE voltage control. No biggie you say?....well I can dial this in to the exact vapor level that I desire....in .1 increments from 2.0 to 4.2. I've been running it quite low...as I most enjoy it that way. I couldn't do this on my original Uni whicih had 3 power level settings where I always had found even the lowest (1) setting to be too high for my uses.

These things are discreet enough...and given that virtually any cart will fit snugly...the form factor is worth any perceived sacrifice(s) in size. I don't seem to get my carts clogged in these Uni's like I do in cheap pen style batts. These are durable enough and cheap enough that I don't worry about it in the least.

I love this thing. Where could I spend < $20 and get such benefits? Don't hesitate if you are looking for a battery for carts. This thing is great for all types of rippers.

These things are awesome. Even smaller than expected. I stick to 2.0 volts. The wife goes to 3.0 for her CBD carts. I can definitely recommend.
Yup....2.0 is where it is at for me too. Gives me full control of dosage. On the old Uni which had only 3 power level settings....I would often rip on the 1.5V 'heat up cycle' to get a low vapor pull.....as even the low #1 power setting was just 'too much' for my needs.

This was/is my only cart battery and I started out at 2.4v and have just left it there. Works great and easily and I have no complaints. It is a perfect device for stealth in those few situations where its still necessary in my newly (just a year now) legal state. Public consumption is still frowned on here...

Interestingly I have revised my voltage and have been happy at 2.4 as well. Love this thing's control and a battery gauge is most excellent. Keeper for sure.

I still think the Uni Pro is the best vape in the game!

My one MINOR complaint, is the ODD puff timer on the LCD screen. Times the puff ok, but goes back to “0.0”, as soon as you let go of the power button, so you CANNOT actually see the time, unless you look in a mirror. On every ECig mod I own, the TIME of the last puff stays on the screen, until the next puff. Certainly, not a big deal, and maybe it’s just on the one I have.

It's normal, mine does the same, only I never use/look at it, in fact my Uni Twist has now taken over my Uni Pro due to its awesome little form factor. The only thing that I miss is the battery indicator, but since they use the same battery its no issue especially with the USB-C charging.

The Twist is cheap enough, I’ll probably get one. I would probably miss the cart resistance readout the most, but my PKCT-2 doesn’t have any screen either. Thanks for the confirmation!

Just curious, but why? How does it help?

When I swap carts, i can see if they are seated properly, as mine should read close to 1.5 ohms. Sometimes I notice the ohms really high, and then I reseat the cart. If it’s just a bit higher, I do a quick 1 second fire, and often the ohms will drop down to the proper reading. If the resistance stays high, I’ll keep an eye on it, as it might be time to consider retiring it. It’s just nice to have any additional data points. On a ECig mod, knowing the atomizer resistance is a common procedure.

It’s great to be able to check the resistance of new cartridges to make sure they work before filling them! Makes for a handy diagnostic tool.

Also as far as I know the Uni Pro is the only one that actually reads the carts resistance, so 2v is a true 2v. I don’t think the other batteries compensate for the cartridges true resistance, so even if it’s set to 2v it might really be more like 2.5v.

I think those other ones experience more sag as the battery depletes, too.

Yeah, I can’t speak for other bat mods, I only have the UNI Pro and PCKT-2. I believe the more expensive PKCT internally reads the resistance too, they don’t explicitly say that on their site, but originally advertised some “chip voodoo”.

Oh, that's why, you're using it for empty cartridges you are filling, not pre-filled disposable cartridges from the dispensary! Yeah the pro is nice but I didn't feel a need for those features myself, and I am really enjoying the twist as a pretty much ultimate dispensary cartridge battery for me!

Twist is my new ultimate as well!

I've never had a cart not work and i've filled over 100 CCELLs at least. I have to adjust the Uni pro the exact same as the Twist for different carts, so either the Twist has the same tech, or it's just for show and just reads resistance.

The ohm reading feature is something I’d miss a bit, regardless if a cart is empty or filled, same reasons.

Anyone with a decent ECig mod, like a DNA, could use it to test the ohm resistance, but it would be less convenient, as I’m popping in different carts. Knowing the carts resistance, and that the device is reading it properly, makes me feel more secure my voltage settings are running accurately. I bought 2 Yocan Pros for $40, so while the size and feel might not be for everyone, the price wasn’t a factor.
