It's a whole different ball game when the VB has a bigger, well, everything.

Just imagine hitting a VB. Picture the air entering the bong. You've probably used it more than me. I'm sure you can feel it too. You can chug hard and fast but still get awesome vapor. Its just not possible in my mind for it to be just a normal Bong airflow. It wont woorrrrkkkk lol.

Usually bongs add percs at the water area. I believe one was added to the heater head, to slow down air passing through the ceramic element.

I really hope the manufacturer can confirm this so i don't feel like a crazy dude lol. No need to reveal any further details. I just wanna know if I'm right?
Yes, it does. Everything is handmade. Except for the electronics. The only thing we order are clay tubes. A small clay tube is installed where the cantal wire is wound around it. We will run the camera during the upcoming construction phase. In the time lapse because of course we do not want to give out instructions. But you will then be able to see that everything is handmade.😊

Does this mean I'm right? The clay tube (whatever that is  ) is responsible for slowing down/ diffusing the intake air, before it passes through the kanthal, right?

Haha I think she was answering "yes, it does", to your statement about there being some sort of fresh air diffusion inside the heater sphere like the bong downstem, the tube is just the only piece not handmade, because it is simple just to hold the kanthal.

The whole team is truly amazing! I am so thankful and happy for all of them and, everything they do. I love checking this thread to see if someone just scored a new piece of art.

Yeah that's the one I would grab, if I didn't already have one on the way, if this shop would ship to the US... Someone should!
I actually reached out to this shop last year asking about US shipping (pre vape mail issues). They said it's difficult to ship to US but "if you are interested in those we will find a way!!" I ended up ordering from AoV directly, but looks like US shipping might actually be possible if you send them an email.

Also, the benefits of late night site scrolling.. I noticed two new Art Edition Bongs pop up, discounted due to a rubber gasket being needed on the chillum. Scored this beauty by Sophie :luv: the other design by her is still available

So it sounds like their payment processor is working again?

Oh! I meant to add.. I payed via PayPal at Daniel's direction as that was the easiest option available currently. Their CC account is still down but they are hoping to have that resolved soon with the rebrand.
No you did not bro *wink*. You sent them a donation out of the kindness of your heart and whaddya know? They have as big a heart as yours and decided to send you a free gift. That's what happened right? *wink*

What size is the joint on their bongs? 14mm or 18mm?

Seems some people leave their VB on all day others turn them on in in the morning and off at night. (I fall into the latter category, also empty, iso wipe/bottle brush, dry overnight, fresh water in am, repeat.)

I was wondering is there was any longterm benefit to one style versus the other in preserving the life of the coil ? It seems constantly on vs reg on and off heating and cooling have pros and cons.

Which leads to next question, what is the lifespan of the kanthal coil? Is this even an issue if the life span is so high?

With recent shipping in the air trying to establish best practices to keep the VB in tip top shape.

I think you're doing fine, there's been comments in here from many different users with different styles, no one has had a problem with the heater as far as I know? And there were reports of heavy testing done in Europe, with it being left on for over a year without issue... So I don't think it matters how you use it, whatever works for you! And I think kanthal must be very durable with a long life span, why it is being used in these kind of heaters where it glows a lot, as opposed to steel or titanium...

The WPs are all 19/26 (18.8) at least the 3 i have.

Oh wow that's awesome! Thanks bud, my eyes deceived me yet again :ko:

Thanks brother. You're right I like the kanthal coils in my Dreamwoods. They are cloud makers.

I try to care for the whole collection. Im hope it lasts well into my retirement...so 35 yrs minimum is my current low key dream...
