Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Abysmal Vapor

Supersniffer 2000 - robot fart detection device
I would like to thank everyone here in the cheap high quality bubbler thread for the recommendation on the yingmin5 rattle can. It seems well constructed with thick glass throughout. I can see that the design benefitted from the inputs of forum members here (can’t remember who it was but thank you!) It works great as a handheld rig with the stem brace locking around your index finger for a secure grip. The placement of the down stem outlet seems to be optimized so you don’t get any splash in the mouthpiece with a variety of fill levels. I have settled on just below the tip of the angled part of the down stem outlet for an optimal water level that creates satisfying percolation without much of any drag. I find that the Yingmin5 rattle can accommodates the strength of pull so when you really rip it opens up and doesn’t add much resistance. When pulling slow it has a nice chug and the action of the diffusion bead is very noticeable. It is very loud so when I don’t want everyone in the immediate vicinity to know I’m vaping I go for my FC-UFO. The flavor on the rattle can is definitely superior but the UFO has the slight edge in diffusion. I knew when ordering the rattle can that the one piece I am missing is a very high diffusion piece with multiple percs but I also have a soft spot for straight tubes. Damn you GAS!

Yeah I fill maybe just below that line, level with the tip of the angled outlet of the down stem. I have the yingmin5 with the straight necked mouthpiece so it’s a little more prone to water coming out if you tip it. I have filled it to the water line you have in the picture and it functioned well but a little less water makes it highly spill resistant and reduces the initial draw resistance felt when you pull the bubble through the tube. Once you get it going it seems to have minimal draw resistance regardless of fill level.

here’s the link to the one I have: Yingmin5 Rattle Can

SEARCH for the treasure...
I've had a little bit of GAS recently and picked up this little pup from Aqua Labs to use primarily as a dry hand pipe of sorts for my Flower Pot. It's been working real well for that purpose. With some water in it there's not a whole lot of diffusion due to just being a basic two hole perc but It does provide some cooling and because of how the mouthpiece is set up you can add a good amount of water without ending up drinking any of it. It does get dirty pretty fast since its straight down from the bowl to the body but its pretty easy to wash out with some hot water.

Thanks, had this mini rig for awhile now and wanted to thank you for posting the photo of the “Aqua Lab - 14mm Mini Dab Rig”. I was intrigued, I don’t buy much glass rigs, as I have my favorites, but I wanted something smaller then my Rattlecan, but not a pop on on mini bubbler, I have a couple of those. Something easy to one hand hold with small devices, like a DV, or IQ2, nothing to large like a Mighty that would topple it over.

As it is hard to judge scale by their online photo, and even using a ruler to estimate, I was shocked how small it was when I opened the package. In my mind I thought it was 20-30% larger, so my heart sunk.... but then my brain engaged and I thought, isn’t this EXACTLY what I originally wanted, something really SMALL, but functional.

They claim these are US blown glass, and that may be true, as I’ve never seen it on any Chinese sites, but I didn’t look hard. That may explain the slightly high price of $65. My disappointment is how thin the glass is, and the base would be much better if an inch wider too. I don’t believe this will survive even a table tip over, so I’m extremely careful, even when I clean it. I love everything else, I’d pay $100 if those improvements were ever incorporated.

You can get more water in then most small bubbler types, but way less then a larger rig like the Rattlecan. However, it does add a decent amount of cooling and of course fine herb bits filtration. That’s always a compromise.

The biggest SURPRISE improvement that this little rig added was a lot of extra pull, not sure how that vacuum science works, but I find it easier to pull now on a carb less DV stem and an IQ2, both with some draw resistance in their OG state. And of course, being able to see how much vapor is going through the glass, is always welcome feedback.

I highly recommend this rig for the purposes I’ve outlined above.

Has anyone got this sidecar knockoff from Yingmin5? I just ordered one for $27.33 with free shipping. I want a center down stem water piece; I have a Terp Torch coming from EntExchange and feel like it’ll balance better than my other pieces. And I’ve wanted a matrix sidecar style piece for a while. How’s it compare to the other DHGate clones? I’ll update when it arrives. Thanks.

Edit: Link fixed and photo included.

From the image it looks like the can is narrower than Steven's. Is that correct? Less volume in the can?

I think so. It does look skinnier, and the height measurements have it at an inch and a half taller. So maybe similar volume of water.

I see a skinny base like that,
Especially with a Terp Torch with that lovely slim pliable power cord. :haw:
I would get a larger sidecar for that vape and keep the thinner version for using while sitting in a recliner, just have to remember not to drink out of it when in the reclined movie watching position.
