I recommend playing with it.

I started tamping all my convection vapes since I got the Terp Torch stir tool. Mostly to keep the herb from the heater, but also to get rid of any air pockets in the load. Air pockets can cause uneven heating and tunneling.

I take a dry pull for 2-3 seconds without the heater attached, it “vacuums” the herb down :mmmm:

Well, the replies have been very positive. Still no answer as to customer service ?
my one run in with CS:
ordered large size full kit and they sent me the small size full kit. i emailed them friday afternoon and 10 minutes later i had been told they would send me the large drinkware and stem that coming tuesday and i could keep the existing setup for my troubles. well, monday i got tracking and in 2 days i had the parts and a free charger and long usb cable.

i would say that was great for me. i have since bought a second one so they have me as a loyal customer.

want my affiliate link? just kidding.

On a serious note...

What do we expect out of this battery? I dont own or use any vapes with a non removable battery...and I know overall battery life is a complain people have with those types, you know like mighty/crafty for example, over time the battery starts to suck and its a whole process to restore it.

Also saw how its been opened up and theoretically should be able to be user-replaceable but who knows. Just would be a bummer to buy this thing and then a year or two from now it's gotta be sent back for service for a shitty battery or you have to buy your own battery replacement pack etc. etc.

looks to me like i could just replace it myself. but for the cost if it lasts the user 4yrs which is the warranty once registered thats pretty good. for the types that wouldnt try tinkering but thats not me. the vape quality makes it worth it to me considering it is replacing a lot more dollar amounts than it cost.

I know one person got the wrong cup size and it was handled quick , other than that I don’t think anyone has had a need as of yet but can’t speak for early adopters. So early adopters any CS issues?

If you are addressing me - I was referring to the Tafee folks to repair my TM. It was a joke ( maybe a bad one - but just a joke).

In any event, I think I'll order the damn thing.

Haha no it was replying to DJ sleepy who was trying to help you with the TM here in this thread! Quit dirtying up our nice clean Tafée thread with other vape talk ;) :whip:

Has anyone in the EU bought a Bowle?

Does anyone know if there will be a local EU distributor so we can avoid expensive shipping and customs fees / import taxes?

I asked Jorge (MiniVAP / Bowle designer), and he told me he imagines it will happen soon, so I should be patient... 🤔

Mine should get delivered tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

For those who took delivery via FedEx - did you have to sign for the package? I will be home, but I live in a gated condo building and that can cause issues with deliveries from time to time.

Because of pandemic you do not need to actually sign, but they do need to hand it to you or someone... I made sure they had my gate code when I ordered, but was anxious all day, you can try leaving a note on gate?
