Stink wont stay away?!

So all my glass have a smell, almost like vapor glob stink (globs that accumulate while vaping) and I cannot get the smell out and shortly after cleaning and using it comes back quickly. It's almost like my glass is stained with the smell/taste. I wash every day at most 2 days with 2-3 pieces of glass in rotation. So they never get filthy. I use iso or everclear and salt. Last night I tried mixing lemon juice in with it to see if it gave any better effects, yet it failed. I was going to do another iso wash on all my glass and try to run through the dishwasher to see if the steam n heat would help. I'm at a loss guys. I already ordered two glass pieces to use until I get this figured out...

Maybe it’s just your vapes? Decomposing plant material caused by flower vaporizers make bongs stink compared to oil vaporizers. And heavy hitter vapes tend to create lots of reclaim where the water soluble compounds quickly work to create swamp water.

I tried 420 cleaner to no success except it covered the smell. Yeah my vapes do create a stink quick I will change water in between washes when it gets murky. I cleaned a sake bottle 3 times yesterday with everclear, salt, and lemon. The smell (idk if I can taste or if it's just my nose n brain tricking me) returned within just a few dyna loads.

Edit--- it also never fully leaves either

I cant enjoy w.o. water. I've tried but didnt like it one bit. I was wondering if my tap water was making issues worse and was going to toss purified water in it. If my vapes are the issue maybe I could get a hold of an inverzion and see if it helps? For science bro... haha jp man
@strech yeah I do salt with it. I swear it's like the taste is stained into all my glass and using or adding water is leeching it from the glass. It really taste like vapor resin n dirty silicone whip *reminds me of the taste of hitting a vape through a whip*

Give everything a good cleaning with either high proof (>150°) drinking alcohol or methanol (non-drinkable thinner) and salt. I've been using methonal since may because of coop, it works a wonder. It's also considerably cheaper than drinking alcohol of similar proof. Plug the mouthpiece and shake the everloving bejesus out of it, then flush with the hottest tap water you can.

I think the secret is alcohol. It's a great solvant.

How old are the glass pieces that smell?. Hope you figure this out. Ever ask anyone else about the smell?. Maybe you are just extremely sensitive to smells.

Haha. One can wash a dog for hours but it will still smell like a dog. It will smell like a clean dog, but a good whiff will reveal that its still definitely a dog.

50/50 mix with water, soak overnight, rinse with water, then white vinegar, then water. Save the soaking mix for multiple reuses.

I will try this tonight and let you know. I keep simple green around for those areas I dont want harsh cleaner around.

@cooper haha yeah I'm going to try all the ladder and if nothing i will own quite the extensive collection of stinky glass over the years. The wife and I decided to buy cheaper glass only so we can have fresh glass more often

Well I never! Haha jp but seriously bro my stuff is always cleaned with iso very often that's why I'm at a loss. Trying simple green and pbw when it arrives home. It was hard to come here with my head hung low saying my glass stinks and this is what you lay on me?! Haha lmao jp man.

The cranberry extract put a stop to that. It acts like a lubricant making it easier to wash the organic material away which is what the smell is, probably. The salt, I’m told, keeps the water fresh a bit longer. I picked both up on Amazon.

You know my glass probably hasn't seen natural sunlight in a year. My bed room is in the basement and the furthest it goes away from there is the basement living room.

Whenever I combust I add a few drops of essential oil like peppermint or eucalyptus when I'm cleaning. Destroys any stank real quick trade-off is you'll be left with a hint of whatever oil you choose.

Another thing I’ve used is mustard, yes plain ole yellow mustard (or mustard powder). Add a spoonful of mustard or mustard powder, add hot water, shake and rinse. Let soak if necessary.

So why is it so good at dispelling odors? There is vinegar present in most mustard condiments and mustard seed itself is known as a rubefacient, or a substance that causes the skin to redden because it creates heat. Perhaps those factors in combination with the pungent, powerful, and volatile compounds in mustard seeds themselves helps get rid of stinky stuff.
