I must say, the art of vapor cs is possibly the best I've experienced from a Vaporizer purchase so far.

Without going into too much details, they literally sorted me out within 30 mins or so, during their sale no less. Not to mention English is not a native language for either one of us.

Due to my location, I need discretion and a lower declared value to avoid scrutiny. Its not about the money as lower declared value also means lower insured value, which will suck for me if things go south with the package.

Some vape sellers/manufacturer are not as easy. I don't blame them though cos they are not obligated to trust me. I do try to explain my situation as a cancer survivor medicating in draconian land. If they empathize, then I'm in luck. If not, I'd choose to not take the risk.

Which is why I appreciate Vapbong so much. They literally suggested that I send payment using a different, safer method for my situation. Honestly, I did not even dare to bring it up. Instead, they offered it voluntarily to me! I even received a copy of the reduced invoice.

My last email, I told them to let me have that Obsidian if payment doesn't go through for the guy who bought it. Very very unlikely I know LOL

I even shamelessly informed them about my birthday *wink* lol. My birthday Plus the sale was the only way I could get wifey to approve the purchase. Yes, I'm a whipped man…Someone do that swishing sound please ROFL!

Always good to hear when companies are ok with going that extra mile for an individual customer!

Art of Vapor is killing it with the sale, definitely one of the better deals out there IMO. Can't wait to get my hands on one eventually, we'll see if my trigger finger gets too twitchy if some more bandits get put up for pre-order.

I do have one question - for the bandit, does the stem stick straight down, unsupported? Does it cling to one of the sides to improve strength or are there struts? Same question with the bong, does the stem cling to the ceramic side sorta like a gil perc or does it stick out unattached at the bottom or is there a support coming from the base to the stem? Either way is not a make or break thing, just curious.

It is really difficult to see, I understand what you're asking, and I have no idea. Seems thick and stable regardless, yes in the bandit it does come straight down, but it is very thick so I don't know if it matters that it might not be supported as you described? And I really don't know about the standard vapbong downstem chillum, ya hard to see!

Well someone finally bought Iliad now so I guess I don't have to, saved me lol Now who is going to save me from buying Kiran then??

The ones I like seems to be the cheaper ones. I did not look much in the art section cos I assumed they were all super expensive. Illiad and Kiran looks great. A little too bright for conservative old me. I have my eye on Modern Art, Night Sky and Cosmic Blue in that section. Look at me, don't even have one in hand, and already looking at others. I hope my Yardro print will forgive my such early infidelity

As conservative as I may be, something about the one armed bandit just appeals to me. Besides aesthetics, what's different between classic and bandit? Might be a silly question cos apparently every unit is unique?

Yeah they are all unique, but people keep asking about the difference, I'll just say that there basically is not one other than form factor, potentially other little things that I'll say are a bonus if you find where I already said them here lol but yeah every single one is special one of a kind functional art!

Speaking of the modern art one went quickly! And yeah there is night sky in the classic section, and the one in the art section is night sky with white cobblestone over it (like the lady bandit there is ladybug with white cobblestone over it)

They're all amazing truly, without having one of each, it makes it easy to be happy with any since they all work and look beautifully!

If we are a properly large clientele imho we'll see a rise in the non carb hole products. There were only 3 pieces and they were taken out one after another from my basket from other customers. Glad I managed to grab one.
If money wasn't an issue I'd have bought a custom piece where the ceramic mass around the heater is bigger than the usual, but I'm sure we'll see many more designs like that in the near future.
Bandit: My understanding is that another difference is that you can hit it while sitting, without the need to get up or tilt the vape.
Having to tilt the vape, block the carb hole and take out the bowl in quick succession (while possibly coughing out a lung) seemed the perfect recipe for disaster to me. Especially with a heavyweight.

i couldnt afford one even with the sale in the end. still put a "night sky" one in my basket but when it came up about bank details i thought about what i was doing and backed out. still on my list.
I was fighting a long time with my self buying a Vapbong and I had a long time putting Money aside for it.
But in the end I regret nothing.
My Mighty was very expensive too. A Plastic device produced in China made without any passion for using Weed.
Dont get me wrong I am still useing the Mighty where I cant use the Vapbong but I have more fun and satisfaction with my Vapbong.

And now I am fighting with my self buying not a Bandit in the "Highnachten" sale.
I am still strong and dont visit the shop.
But I am sure if there is a 420 sale next year I have saved enough money for a Bandit.

Keep on saving money for it it's worth it:nod:

I decided to go with the cosmic blue. Really wanted that Purple rose! Some tough decisions. I hope they don't drop new ones anytime soon....lol

Just when I told myself I'd wait until January to buy one... I emailed over there this morning to see if I could do a special order for a cosmic blue bandit lol. That Cosmic Blue may have pushed me over the edge. Great choice

Still not sure if I'm waiting till January orrrr just gonna order that.

ooooh, that would be sweet! It was tough choosing between all those cobblestone ones.

Yeah it looks like my plum jelly bandit is now up for a pre-order without the carb hole... Tempting but then I'd have to deal with selling my original...

Also you can absolutely hit the standard while sitting down, in fact depending on where you're sitting in where your table is, it might be more comfortable for you... The bandit requires me to bend over further, but yeah I do like the form factor still (and I often do hit the standard tilted, but not always, you do not have to!)

sounds like the next few months will be fun around here with so many new units arriving...let's get the vapbong train rolling!!!

All aboard!! :spliff:

This morning I see Kiran is now gone as well fortunately, I did put Tahiti Grape in my cart last night though, I see it is removed from the list entirely in the classic section now, but still in my cart (probably an error)

So.....let's get that train rolling

Mine arrived Monday this week, and my heart sank the moment I picked up the box. I could hear the glass tinkling inside and knew something didn't make the journey.

Luckily it was only the filling bowl, and @VGOODIEZ was outstanding as always with communication and working with me. I didn't think there was much to do about it, I was actually letting them know so they could check or repack before sending out more, but they have another on the way to me, they so rock!

Well, everything they say is true, this thing can hit big and it's a very easy hit to take. I've not gotten the time I want to play with smaller amounts, different heat settings and such, but that will start again tonight!

After summarizing all of the starting voltage settings I saw here, I decided I usually end up on the higher temp end, let's start her around 12.5V and see where she settles, expecting about 11.5V. It did and the hits were full, flavorful and while so many times I've heard the term "chug or chuggy" when talking about the VB, I don't think I'd describe the pull like that at all. The stem does look to be attached to the side of the unit, I saw that discussion earlier and looks to have about 5 good sized holes for a large/modified showerhead style almost?

I started with fairly full amount not wanting my first hits to be underwhelming, and that's how I've used it since. It can burn threw weed pretty quick like that, I'll be focusing on smaller amounts pretty soon.

Sorry, lunchtime rambling waiting for the day to end so I can do and not talk about my VB. Happy to have become a part of the team and look forward to hearing more experiences and offering more of my own!

The eagle has landed. Will report back tonight with impressions once I get a chance to hit it. But so far, I’m loving it!

So glad these are landing! @MonkeyTime as soon as I get your dish I'll shoot it out. I really do appreciate your feedback. I have added a lot more padding inside the box now and am particularly focused on they ball and tray that may rock loose.

I am expecting more units next week. I received five more today but only one had a VVPS so whoever ordered the sassy orange one armed bandit is shipping today. AoV sent me a note that they have additional power supplies and they have shipped them. I should have those and more units next week. I think I should be able to clear just about everyone out by the end of the week if inbound shipping goes well.

Appreciate all the support! I am loving mine. I kept a one armed and VapBong. I think so far I'm partial to the one armed but that is also probably because I'm lazy and I can just rip away at the vape desk without having to get up and walk over the the vape bar. I know, first world problems!

I think you made a great choice with the cosmic blue, looks very nice, and will be very unique!

Tahiti Grape is still in my cart somehow, but likely out of stock...

Wow this is beautiful, I love that each vape is so unique, this obsidian color looks completely different than mine and the photos on the site. I can't wait to see what my Plum Jelly bandit looks like, if everything goes right I should have it Monday.

That Cosmic Blue is something else, if I ever get a third one it will be this color...
Problem is I already said that about four other colors also...
How can I justify the purchase of five Vapbong?
