The tension between the USA & Canada might cause in the near future problems in regards to mail carriers and shipments. I don't know if there's any truth to these rumors; but the Canadian boarders might be sealed soon. Also the situations in Ontario looks like there might be an enforced quarantine where everything shuts down. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm worried that if I wait till 420 I might not get my package until further notice. But it's weekend already and nothing could be done :S

I had two OG DW screens. One went down the drain during a cleaning... Oops. The other one was on its last legs from 2 years of use. So I ordered the new ones recently. I was happy that I got 3 for $5. The new screens work fine.

To clean my screens, I just get a pair of tweezers and hit the screen with a lighter. Then drop it in some water to cool it off.

When I ordered my screens, I also ordered one of those glass bowls. That thing is nice.

On a different note, I have an old showerhead and have been dabbing on titanium since I got it. Recently, I got the quartz EOK for my Da Buddha and have seen the light. With 4/20 around the corner, I am eyeballing that VROD/Tbucket. I love my showerhead and I know its one of the best in show for flower. For dabs though... If you already had one, would you upgrade to the VROD or get a Tbucket instead?

TBucket. 100%. You have the best for flower. Now have the best for dabbing.

VRod is amazing at flower, great at dabs, but its not a patch on a dedicated dab rig, with a sapphire dish.

Highly recommended.

Do not fret! I am still moving stuff over. It'll be available soon.
I'm planning on buying a flowerpot bundle on 4\20 and could find only vrod and weedeater on your "Flowerpot bundles and kits"

my question is, is it possible to order the vrod bundle for example and add a note in my order to change the vrod to showerhead?

I could definitely be wrong but I think if you just add the parts individually the price comes out to be about the same

may I inquire as to why you prefer the showerhead? IMO the vrod is better in several ways. 1) better dabbing surface 2) better heat retention 3) less blowback. The only advantage to the showerhead that I'm aware of is possibly less coil specific..

Definitely get the Tbucket over the Vrod for dabs. With the SH and Tbucket you'll be set up for some top class dabs and flower.

And save yourself some money in the long run, and just get a sapphire dish right away if you can afford it. You'll never go back.

I'd just go with the Vrod. I've never used a Showerhead, but I can't imagine concentrates being even half as good on it. If you don't care about that just get a WeedEater?

Vrod is the best desktop I've owned. Plows through flower, and outside of a dedicated dabbing rig, is really really up there for concentrates also.

Either way, enjoy the new toy!

Let me preface this by saying you guys @NewVape710 are the shit for always looking for improvements, and I very much appreciate you guys introducing new products while not phasing out the pieces your customers love and are still interested in. Here is my thought process regarding why the SH is still worth buying.

The vrod/weedeaters interchangeable diffusers (aside from the middle diffuser hole) make them cheaper and more simple to make, while also decluttering the website with less options to overwhelm new buyers. However in my opinion, strictly flower performance is best with the showerhead. The diffuser is like 1/4-1/3 longer when compared to the vrod/weedeater diffuser and the extra mass reduces temp loss during hits.

Obviously the Vrod future-proofs your purchase a bit as concentrates are likely to become more widely available as legality changes. The differences in dab performance between the SH and Vrod is obviously huge, while the difference in flower performance is minimal though, which may make the decision easier.

As for the weedeater - it's great that there's a cheaper option that you can upgrade to a vrod later, but the price is the real upside, especially considering the ability to produce similar results as the others with an increase in temp.

The SH also has the option to dab with which makes it more future proof than the WE.
Don't get me wrong, these all perform insanely well and we are essentially splitting hairs, but I personally notice performance differences between them. It's like buying a brand new ferrari, there are different models that may perform slightly differently, but at the end of the day they are all still brand new ferraris!

My Vrod has been getting a serious double decker work out in recent times! Hope everyone is well.

I've had my FP SH one year now. I LOVE IT! I use mostly flower. It's not my daily driver as I'm always on the go... Usually, fuck you Coronavirus... But when I'm home and have some free time that baby is on and wow. I'll say it's the best plug in Vaporizer on the market. The design is genius, and simple. The initial learning curve is a bit more than a portable but once you know your zone, watch out!

This 420 im going to buy a VROD head with a couple accessories. Not looking to spend major right now but since it's the sale time I'll do that upgrade. I'm getting more into concentrates now and I know the flavour of the Ti can be harsh but for flower it's unmatched.

When life returns to normal I'll buy a Tbucket with a Sapphire dish... But for now the VROD will be my baby till next 420... Maybe

Keep safe everyone and keep your stash plenty as it's gonna be a while before life returns to "normal"...

Hey all,

Is there a smart plug that's also a surge protector that any here can recommend to plug the controller into?

Looking on Amazon now.

Thanks

The Dnail sapphire dish that fits the Vrod is only like $250

If only the gf allowed me to be more irresponsible with money!

I've been using the WeMo Mini and it has been great. Functions well with Google assistant. Little pricey, but it just works with little hassle.

And I have a surge protector I trust plugged into it.

Don't they used to have a reversed VRod that works with counter clockwise wrapped coils?

I really want to get the VRod, but since my coils isn't compatible I can't see myself dropping extra 160 for Auber & coil. I'd get the coil by itself but I'm worried it won't be compatible with my dhgate enail which has the same plug. Good thing I stumbled upon this video before I place my order which explains why the coil may not work on another box (@ 1:17)

It bugs me a little bit, specially that I'm getting the stand and the carb cab which could've made the setup near perfect for flower & concentrates. Probably won't end up being a big deal since I don't do concentrates often, in fact I do them like once every while.

That dnail dish sale is tempting but I don't think I can justify spending that much when I could pick up a another 2 extra sic dishes for less then half the price of a single sapphire dish. Can anyone who's tried both speak to the experience/durability of the sapphire dish?

Hey brotha, I think we have about 2 or 3 left of the reverse tops. I'll put it up for you first thing in the a.m.!

Thanks! I hope it's the last revision! Would be great to have one setup that covers both flower & concentrates:) , I'm waiting till 420 at this point and I hope this is fine by you.

Did you change the international shipping options recently? I remember there was 3 options the cheapest was 20, now only two and both around 50.
