After nearly 3 weeks of intense usage I would say honeymoon is over and I can claim the LSV as the home vape I've been searching for years. It's a KISS device, heats up in minutes, delivering densest, great tasting and hardest hitting vapor. Unbelievable the LSV has been under my radar for so long. We're still in middle age of vaping here in Europe, but nevertheless I think, 7thfloor/elev8/whatever should improve their marketing. The ELEV8R as the LSV are outstanding kick-ass devices but fairly unknown.

Are you in the UK? May I ask where you purchased from in the end?

I'm thinking the LSV will be end game for me with a couple of WPAs. I have the SSV and that's spot on but takes a bit of room on the table, then there's the whip to the bong and it all gets a bit messy when I get a bit messy. :science:

I'm after something that works like the elev8r but without the butane, the elev8r bowl is a perfect size and I find the wands for the SSV a little small and too easy to get some scorched loads.

So elev8r bowl and an LSV as a heat source will fit the bill for me, but no one in the uk seems to have the WPAs in stock and the shipping is crazy from the states.

:)

No, not in the UK, but Europe. Got mine from Vapefiend. They even got the short 14mm WPA in stock meanwhile, hadn't when I ordered my LSV. Have (hopefully) two WPAs on their way from South Africa, it was the cheapest option shipping included I could find...
Unfortunately it has shown, and I'm sure once could find it here in the thread too, the LSV WPA seems to be quite unnecessary. A 2$ 18mm male - whateveryouneed adapter from DH with a fitting screen does a fabulous job.

Thanks, they must have had a shipment recently, they have the whips too for the LSV.

I'm more inclined to use the WPA if I was to grab one, I have some male-male 19mm WPAs that I've used with basket screens in my splinter and I've used the Arizer elbow and basket in my tapered GG SSV cover, but I really prefer and like the large bowl of the elev8r and a sprinkle of herb ocross the surface, instead of a thicker layer in a narrow space like with the others.
One long hit and it's cooked, dump it and reload ready.

You might look into placing another screen over the thin layer of bud (sort of a pot sandwich with two screens) it locks everything in place but you have to form the screens some and its a bit busy to empty and load. I used the configuration for small loads in an Da Buddha with an LSV heater cover.

Hadn't realized the original WPAs provide a larger surface. You're absolutely right, this would be preferable. So I hope my WPAs will make it up here, tracking stucked at Johannesburg in end of December :D

Well, I took the plunge and grabbed myself an LSV.

Man, this thing gets hot! I only have to click it on and leave the dial on minimum and after 5 mins or so, the glasswand is unusable. Vapour is too hot and I'm scorching loads.

I pushed the heater in as far as it will go, but yeah the wand is unuseable for me at the lowest temp and that's kinda why I wanted it as a portable SSV. Ah well.

That aside, ripping it through the bong with the WPA is spot on! :science: I just gotta remember to turn the thing off after using it cause I can;t pick the thing up, it gets that warm.

Is this normal, or is this just a 240V thing? Have I got a 110V heater in there?

I'm going to try some bubblehash with it tonight, another reason why I got the thing, hoping it works well with that. :brow:

In the short period I had a wand for my LSV I usually pulled it out when not hitting it. after I broke the the wand and replaced it with a whip and a male to male adapter I was much happier with the vapes performance. To be honest I didn't really like the wand so I may not be fair to the wand.

I cord wrapped the lower portion of my LSV for better grip and it took care of the heat too as a bonus. Enjoy your hash.

Hi Howie, thanks fort hat.

Not a bad idea, cord wrapping it. Could use some fabric motorbike exhaust tape or something, like they do to their bobbers n choppers! Or just some chord.

I pull the wand, but the element just gets too hot to use the wand.

BUT!!!

I just put a basket top hat screen thing in my splinter wpa with a pea of bubble hash and my face is melting!

Whoah. Now that's what I wanted it for.:rockon:

Nice one dude! :)

I may try the wand in the SSV, I'm sure that element gets nowhere near as hot as this LSV one.

Is it possible to push in or pull out the heater to adjust overall heat? Without damaging anything?

The LSV is my most used vape, with a cheap DH 18mm male-male adapter on a Mobius clone.
But the wand is unusable for me also. As great as taste and medication are, I'm coughing to death even on lowest settings.

On the other hand, there are the original WPAs which have arrived meanwhile. The shop only differed between 18mm and 14mm, I ordered two 14 and one 18, to dodge shipping costs I think. So the 14mm ones are about twice as long as the 18mm and neither of them works. My LSV isn't producing any vapor even with the short 18mm on highest settings, the distance to the heater seems to be too big.

What I'm doing is turning the dial to about 3 oclock and leaving the LSV on. I can happily take rips with the WPA when the glass heater cover is fully heat soaked. Long slow draws.

It works like a dream!

I'm gonna get told off for the double post, but I can;t edit my last one... I meant to say, I turn it to 3 o'clock to warm for a bit and then turn it right down to the lowest setting (about 8 o'clock) and it's perfect through the bong.

I'm currently using an 18mm male to male adapter with a top hat screen full of bubble hash in the LSV and bong and it's bliss.

Blackjack by sweetseeds. So much cherry going on around my tastebuds!

Mate just be clear on one thing there is nothing wrong with double posting after the Edit option time window has expired there are no rules against this and this is perfectly accepted and allowed.

It is only while you are still within the Edit window that's double posting is generally disapproved of and discouraged.

Last few days I’ve been having issues running my LSV at 12. It doesn’t get orange nor giving me nice hits. The element is reading STD-10. Should I pull it out more? Same power source, just tried another and it’s doing the same. This LSV is only a year old. Thanks!

Their Customer Service can fix it most likely?

We gotta get the 7th Floor vapes on newFC too!
http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/important-announcement.49260/

Unfortunately I no longer own one, but perhaps one of you would like to create a new thread for the Life Saber Vaporizer here (just linked to the old one at the top of the new one)
https://newfuckcombustion.com/index.php?forums/upcoming-unreleased-portables.33/
Then mods can move it to the main section and close this one... I'm not active enough in this thread, otherwise I would do it myself!

Continuation of the legacy thread^ from oldFC, this vape is a true beast, SSV meets Log, arguably the most popular 7thFloor desktop and for good reason. The LSV is a versatile cloud machine, unlimited power plugged in, and still handheld (though yes, larger like a light saber!) with so many 18mm glass path options for your vapor

Not sure if anyone is posting here..but here it goes. I just just caught the vapor bug and have a Hybrid at the house (whip and balloons), EVO and Mighty en route and just ordered the LSV! i think the LSV may become my main driver. To start I ordered: cooling device, silver wand / vape, storage bag, water adapter, honeycomb wand, and screens. I plan on using the LSV with my T Lewis glass piece and the wand.

I started on page 290 and I think I have everything I need to get started. Can't wait.
