Hey all, wanted to stop in and ask, is the best way to conserve herb, to pack just the screen so it’s covered? I have been doing 2 hits and it’s fully extracted, DARK brown. I am completely in love with my Vrod, I thought I would never try this vape because of the price tag but god damn it’s better then the EVO.

I just got my FP Vrod the other day and used it for first time last night with some flower. My other plug-in desktop is a Vapor Brothers VB1, which I really like, but I have to say the FP takes the experience to a whole other level. Like many have said before, it really is a VAS killer and my end game vape, although I'm afraid I'm developing a case of GAS (Glass Acquisition Syndrome). The workmanship and performance of this vape is top notch. 10 out of 10 for me.

How much you pack in the bowl is up to you, that said, I like really high temps. I'm running 747 F. I use only one NewVape PAX scoop of really fine grind barely covering a double weave screen. It's a really quick 5 second draw until the can on my double matrix with ash catcher is full, then I pull the heat and finish what's in the rig. These are not massive hits, but if you pull longer at these temps you will combust. The benefit to this way of vaping with the Flowerpot is the super quick extraction. The closest affects to smoking herb without combusting of any other vaping method I have tried. It's a must own vape.

I find there's really no how to for micro dosing.

Just put in any amount.

To e more herb is the bowl he lower the temp on the email can be. The less herb in the bowl the higher the temp.

Fortunately I purchased these screens for a combustion friend and they fit the glass FP bowls VERY snug/perfectly and nothing seems to get through.

Also there was a larger capacity glass bowl that was recently available on eBay but currently isn’t listed. Here’s the link for the short version from the seller.

I like the sound of the larger capacity glass bowl are they available anywhere else?

I have a Evo but iterested in flowerpot essential bundle with the weed eater but before buy I would love your opinion.
I'm a havy user love destkop units and use 99% weed

You can't go wrong with the Vrod...it does everything the Weedeater does, and can also be used for concentrates should the occasion arise. I would also highly recommend getting the Auber PID and coil from NewVape. If you want the best vaping experience, pick up a NewVape Fine Grinder. It grinds to a perfect consistency for the Flowerpot.

If you're still uncertain which model to purchase give NewVape a call or email them and speak to,Edwyn, Lori, or any of the other great people at NewVape.

Here is there contact information:

Congratulations @Pablopicasso you're going to love it!

I've only just recently started vaping with the showerhead and haven't looked back. I like using it at 650f with a fairly big bowl of freshly ground herb in a good water piece. Beatiful big clouds of delicious vapor.

I was wondering what you all do with your Newvape Flowerpot, do you switch it of between sessions or if not how long do you leave it switched on?

Just wondering what's best for the vape?

Cheers

No issue with the vape itself, but it is my understanding the coil will eventually fail and that heating/cooling cycles ‘may’ decrease the longevity of a coil. That said, I always have a spare coil and my FlowerPot is on at least 5 hours a day. While I prefer shut it down overnight, I do not see any concerns with it being left on over night and have done so many times. With the heated head exposed only concern would be a person/animal knocking it off a table or burning themselves.

My NV coil been going strong since Sep. 2017! Survived a change between the ol' wraparound head to Vrod and been hooked-up to the same NV controller. I also leave it on 5+ hours a day, everyday. And sometimes forget it on when I fall a sleep or leave for work for 8+ hours. But I currently have no pets to worry about. It's 99% the way I consume flower when I'm at home.

I haven't seen any drop-off yet or need to get a replacement coil or controller...but as they say, one is none and two is one...or something like that!

I have 1 and 2 hole older VROD caps with the wood handle add on. Works great.

Is this a new revision and the older style will be phased out?

Regarding coil life expectancy, I've been using the coil I have now for a year, and it seems to work just fine still. What would I notice if it started to go? Does it not get as hot as the PID says? Takes longer to get hot? Just flat out stops working?

I think that became available just a couple days after I recently ordered my Vrod. I got the Vrod 2-hole carb cap with screw on dab scoop, but I can see where having the wood handle to grab will be nice when leaving the carb cap on the heater for an extended period of time.[/QUOTE]

Hello Stonedbadger, this is Clem Fandango, can you hear me?

I recently received some of these in 18mm:

hey hold a bunch of material and the joints don’t wobble around in any of my good glass. They’re tall enough so the bottom of the FP is about a cm above the handle on the bowl, but you definitely have to hold the FP handle in place as it doesn’t rest square on the bowl.

I ordered two right after Christmas and they got to me just before Chinese New Year. I don’t know why, but I actually received four bowls instead of two.

If you’re in the USA, I can ship you one of the extras via USPS. Send me a PM.

Same goes to the first person to PM for the other one, I’ll ship it to a USA address.

It is hard to say really but some guys here have had their coil for a long time, I'm going on two years with mine, never an issue. But then I dont leave mine on all day or for really extended periods, cause im not home a lot. I think the worst case scenario for a bad coil is you will get the EEEE on the display which basically means the controller cant read the coil at all.

In other cases, I have seen coil just spike up to a ridiculous number regardless of the set temp (1000+) which would be a faulty thermocoupler.

Point is, I think the symptoms of a bad coil are pretty obvious, unless someone can share some other insight I have not experienced yet.

In an effort to simplify our collection of devices, this was designed to fit all of them (no showerhead, sorry) so it is an all-in-one sorta deal.

It really is pretty :haw:

Sure is pretty! :clap::clap::clap::clap:

I love that you revise your designs, always striving for and achieving perfection.

Oh, that does look nice. I've got the universal carb cap but with just a standard long handled small ball point dabber attached and an inch of silicon tubing toward the cap for grabbing when it gets hot.

Think I shall have to get the rest of the bits to make a wooden handled one tho.

Hello Everyone. Just joined this Forum and I am getting great Vibes here. It is thanks to you all that I decided not to unpack my just ordered Plenty and send it right back. In the last few pages of the Plenty forum I read about the aluminum dust issue. This scared me away. Really trying to step away from combustion (I say as I am about to smoke a joint), but aluminum dust in/around the same place where I place my herb... No go for me. Now I would really appreciate the advice of some people owning the Flowerpot.

Really interested in NewVape's offering with their Flowerpot. I think I want to go with the V-rod in case I want to try concentrates in the future. Already found quite a bit of info about heads on this forum. Sorry if my question below have already been answered. Tried the search feature and the forum is so long. Might have read about 40-60% of it all. Also, I am about to share a link to the only EU shop from which I could buy this product. I hope that is ok with regards to forum rules. The thing I am most curious about is whether I need anything else to get started with vaping right away. I own a glass piece (the Honey, with 14mm female connection) and really want to know if I can get started right away if I buy the V-Rod bundle.

The only vaporizer I have used is the Arizer air (OG) which I own. Unfortunately due to the small chamber and limited battery use it didn't succeed in moving me away from combustion. Stopping combusting really is the main reason why I am looking for a good vape to get me hammered so I have no excuse when still deciding to F up my lungs. Been smoking for some years and my lungs don't feel like before at all.

So what is my question: If I buy this bundle (LinkToVapeFiend) will I need anything else to get proper Vape sessions? I already own the Honey (waterpipe/bubbler/bong 14mm female). I also see another bundle (Sic dish). There are no pictures shown, but since the price is so much less it got me interested. I noticed it does not come with a head like the flowereater/vrod/shower. Either way, my budget is around 450 euros. I never thought spending so much on a vape but I am paying for my lungs essentially. I am planning on smoking dry herb 99.9% of the time for the forseeable future, so given that, which head/bundle would be most appropriate to me? (Concentrates in Europe aren't easy to get by, and if that changes, I dont mind ordering the VROD in a year or 2.

Would really appreciate some advice on this since I am afraid of paying 450euros only to discover that I need another (Expense) item before I can enjoy vaping.

Again thanks for all the contributions on this forum and I hope I am not breaking any rules. Off to smoke hopefully one of my last 30-40 joints before the vape I will order based on your advice will arrive.
