I like terp pen and concept plus form factor but somehow it does not work quite consistent...
it works best with new coil for one or two days... and also as said it is not cosistent in clouds, taste... also woks best with full batteries... and as I mentioned already as I am new to concentrates I am also not sure how conservative (efficient) it is with my rosin.... sometimes I have a lot of reclaim...

my use: draw to get coils hot -> dip in rosin> take out of rosin> inhale at the start slow at the end of draw I inhale faster...

also in my opinion the coils are exhausted and not useful (or not as good as in beginning) very fast... also with cleaning in ISO...

hope terp pen xl and new coils will be better... terp pen seems to me a little bit like a quimmik... but I like the concept and form factor a lot as earlier metioned... and think there was demand for such a vape...

I just want to say I officially love this device. I dropped one and it broke in half my fault. I ordered a new one but the broken one kept working the whole time. This is a great cheap pen

It seems the whole world is out of replacement tips. I ordered another pen from @PuffItUp but everyone seems out of extra coils???? Even Boundless's web site. store.

Everyone was out of them a few weeks ago also. PIU put me on the notification list and they pinged me a week later when they were back in stock. They knock another dollar or two off the price and ship for free.

There is talk of a new TP XL coming out, but no timeline yet.

Hey. Asked once before as I see different advice on the review blogs.

Is it safe to soak/completely submerge coils in iso for cleaning?

Yes... did it several times... but it will not perform like new... at least not at my attempts...

I like the concept of the terp pen and with a new coil I get really big clouds and taste is also good... but I do not like to take 15 sec. draws... would be nice if it would perform like this with 5 to max 10 sec draws... and the coils clogg to fast...

This is my experience as well. Granted, I am a heavier user than most but I am blowing through a coil in less than a week. First, I notice a giant drop in performance. That's when I know one of the two coil has stopped working. The last coil worked for only a few days, before the first coil burned out. Then, it wasn't even a week and the entire thing stopped working.

I own 3 Terp Pens and each one gets charged at least once or twice a day so I am using the pens a lot. Still, less than a week on the last coil. Usually, they last about 2 weeks but.... damn guys @Boundless Vape Technology , can't we make these so they last a little longer? I just ordered 4 more 2-packs. 2 will be here today so I am in business for a little while. Anyone else burning though coils this fast?

I really love the concept of being able to dip the unit rather than filling a cup or bowl. Are there any other units that work like this? I am ordering a Yocan Dive today. Similar concept but it uses a ceramic tip instead of a metal coil.

Any one else make an (essentially) electronic Nectar Collector?

Thanks

I'm having an ok time with the coils my issue is the short battery life.

I enjoy my terp pen and bring it out with me often but I bet the second version will be way better.

caseball2051,
Ahhhhh, new coils just arrived. A day early, I might add. Another purchase with exemplary service from @PuffItUp

Gotta say, with new coils, the Terp Pen is hard to beat. Awesome hits. One Pen for Barney's Farm, LSD, one for Hazeman Seeds White Grapes and the third one gets passed around to the other flavors of rosin in the drawer. LOL

Thanks again to @Boundless Vape Technology and @PuffItUp

@Boundless Vape Technology are there actually 2 versions of the Terp Pen? Or, just the revised version of the coils?

The reason I ask is because my newer Terp Pen has WAY less draw resistance than my 2 original Terp Pens. I have cleaned and cleaned thinking it's that but the clear winner is always the newer model. I have swapped tips and even mouth pieces but the difference is somewhere else (not much left in the air path LOL) So, are there 2 different versions of the actual pen? Or, are we just dealing with manufacturer's tolerances making a slight difference?

Thanks

I just got mine today, and I love it. It’s absolutely effortless. No torch needed. No buttons to push. Don’t need to load it. It’s great!

I looked, and couldn’t find anything. Does anyone know if there is a water pipe adapter for this? @DDave?
