Discontinued Ghost MV1

I have had a Ghost for awhile , really enjoyed it but was always a bit finicky. No fast charger and just one battery . I think the battery may have been going and that may have been why . Sold that for a low price a few months ago. When I saw the sale I jumped back into the Ghost gang as I always admired the look of the stealth . It’s been about a week with it and it’s working great , really nice vapor , looks cool and they are sending me a fast charger also . I start at like 390 and work my way up in temp after 2 hits . I can say it hasn’t failed me yet , great price and the customer service has been great when I contacted them in the past . That’s what really secured the purchase plus it’s almost a steal at $125 . If you guys and gals are into on demand Vapes you should really enjoy this one when it arrives . The key is also keeping it clean for optimal performance.

Mine came in today, looks like they forgot to pack in the crucible dispenser though, I will have to get ahold of support tomorrow. I ordered on Wednesday or Thursday just before the free charger was included.

Rose Gold is definitely the least popular color as I expected, Lot #03.06.2019
Well at least you can use it. This will be my third purchase, I sold my other two after moving on to other vapes but find myself circling back to a couple I miss when the price is right.
I thought about the rose gold just to be different, so good for you!

I received an email from CS saying that they ran out of crucible holders due to the large response. They said they would have more in this week and send them out soon.

BTW, received my Satin Silver MV1 backup today.

Interestingly, I PM’d Virgil over the weekend with a question, and also sent a message through the site, but have not received any response. I am hopeful they are just slammed from all the orders . . .

I hope everything is allright with Ghost. I am an european customer and I´m not so happy with them and this Blackfriday story. In Europe I couldn´t find a good discount (or any) and no batteries. I bought my ghost mv1 in august last days and at first I was happy with it. Little hard learning curve but I can go it with it. The problem is that I paid a premium price I didn´t mind but I couldn´t find extra batteries. After that the USA price started to drop and it didn´t bother me....but this last week with BLackfriday sale is being big annoying, not only because I can´t find my extra battery, also because is nice that in USA people could take the deal and have spare parts with really little money but in Europe we didn´t and we are stucked with vapes and no extra batteries, crucible dispenser ... and the worst thing is that we don´t really know what is happening and when we are going to have our extra accesories or if Ghost is going to have covered our 5 years guarantee and bateteries guarantee because is going out of business or maybe ghost mv1 is going to be discontinued because the fact is we don´t know what is happening. And the big thing is that I bought (as everypeople) this vape because I can buy spare parts if I need to.
So I´m glad for people that could take this advantage in USA Blackfriday sale but really really bad the lack of European support, we deserved too this fantastic deal or another advantage and be able to have spare parts or a backup the same as USA clients. So I hope we can know more in this days and that Ghost taking care of european ghost mv1 customers in a better way in the future...if there is a future.

ordered one during last minutes of Monday despite the fact that herbalizestore.ca has even a cheaper deal($20 less) for me than $125+20 shipping USD from Ghost store. I did so hoping that ghost would kindly swap my dispenser gift with a fast charger. Also, buying from official store always feels better!
Crafty, ff2 and now MV1! I would be happy if it is somewhere between the two.

The performance is really nice when you got the prper technique. On demand is nice and at first it looks like is least efficient because avb color ...less vapor...but in fact is different than a session high. The worst part in learning curve is to learn than less is more and not trying to pack not tight and control your breath, but if you have a ff2 is going to be easy i suppose. Crucible dispenser, extra battery and fast charger are a must...but then in Europe you can go to 350 euros and no bateries avalaible iGlad for your deal in Canada... I contacted ghost to try to ship one from USA but they didn´t can inform me about taxes and knowing my goverment pirate´s tricks I didn´t try to buy from USA to Spain.

Got my unit in the mail yesterday. Took 12 hours to charge the thing.

Used it this morning before work, and wow what a mistake. This thing hits hard and fast, I crushed through 3 bowls in 15 minutes. Excited to get the crucible dispenser and fast charger in the mail!

Got to read this thread .....we have told many of the beast known as GHOST and his POWER.....lol.....glad you like it! Welcome to the club!

Will everyone who was able to order a fast charger be able to receive one? I’ve heard some units are being received without a crucible holder as well

Couple of questions:

1) Is there anything to be aware of with the fast charger? Do you leave it plugged in when it's not being used? And I assume it's OK to leave the battery in after it's fully charged, it has to have an automatic shut off?

2) My Stealth that I've had for just about a year now doesn't seem to be working as well as it did when it was newer. I'm not getting as much vapor, and it doesn't seem to be heating up the flower as well based on the color of the ABV. At times it feels like air is leaking in, but that can't be. The unit is clean and in excellent condition, and I follow the instructions to check the assembly (seal) after each cleaning.

3) I know this is subjective, but going to ask anyway. I just received my new Satin Silver unit, for those of you who have multiple units do you leave one in the box and save it for when the older one fails or do you use both and just switch off.

So far, I have left my new one in the box. I'm curious about this too. Looking for reasons for and against myself...

1. I leave mine plugged in, yes auto shut off
2. Only other thing I can think of is to check the heat sink seal and check where mp goes in see if it’s misshapen once if I found the sweet spot I stabilized my mp with piece of da Buddha hose so it doesn’t wobble
3.I tested mine and put it up....that way if things go sour I can pull the new one out for special occasions.......

I was wondering about this... Specifically about the warranty and when it begins. That would make my decision much easier. Anybody know if warranty starts upon the completion of the order or upon the registration of the serial number? If the latter, how long can I wait to register it?

Wow. I use a single crucible over the course of 30 minutes and am baked. In fact, a couple of weeks ago, I used a single crucible over two evenings and found a nice Effect both nights. I do not pack the crucible, but merely fill it and tap the side to let it fall naturally. That seems to result in plenty of clouds and effects.

Hope that helps.

Also, I have left my backup in the box as well. Guess I still need to register it for the five year warranty though.

Finally, I did hear from Virgil today, and saw his post. Sounds like things are fine at Ghost.

... Boom Shiva !
Bought my second Ghost MV1 unit , the $125 deal was so unreal, bought it out of compulsion. Will serve as a backup, considering the fact that i prefer the vapor quality to the mighty. But i also find it somewhat inconsistent as compared to the mighty sometimes.

I guess I didn't ask my question properly. What I am wondering is how long can I wait to register my newest mv1, and can I effectively prolong the start of it's 5 year extended warranty by doing so? AND is there any risk of waiting too long and losing out on the extended warranty?

I don't think there is a time frame, but also not sure if waiting could void out warranty/extended part.....
