I know the XVAPE Vista has a lot of fans. Now it looks like XVAPE is putting that tech into a smaller package to compete with the Puffco Peak, at $119:

There aren't many details available, but here are the advertised features so far:

  • Portable Compact Size
  • Easy to clean
  • Detachable Glass Bubbler
  • Wireless Charging
  • Replaceable Ceramic Coil
  • Remarkable Temperature LED light Settings ( White/Green/Red)
Here's a link to their sales page

Here's another picture for scale:

@PPN Do you have this one already?

I am interested, but also concerned the heater design may be crap. I never tried the Vista although I recall you and a couple others around here talking about how good of a device it is for flavor and effect.

@ohmygodimsohigh What can you tell us? Why don't you have a video on this one yet? Isn't that your picture above of the device? You got anymore pictures (like pictures of the heater) by chance?

If thats an 18mm joint I have some really cool stems from Joda that would pair well with this device!

We don't know for sure, but I believe it's pretty much the same heater as the bigger Vista, just packaged differently. I've heard good things about the bigger heater.... all quartz heated by ceramic.

I don't believe anyone has actually used the thing yet. They were just showing it off at the trade show. Supposedly dropping towards the end of August.

I was thinking the heater is completely different just because of the description but without more info it is just a guess. The OG device says it has an all quartz encased coil whereas the mini says it has a replaceable ceramic coil.

I also am curios to how many versions of the OG Vista heater there are? I thought originally it was a metal wire coil inside the Quartz and then they changed it to a ceramic rod. I have not seen the ceramic rod version, but I believe I saw it mentioned.

Wireless charging also sounds awesome.

Yeah, since it's not for sale yet it looks like their website is pretty thin on info. I just assumed it would be similar to the bigger Vista's heater, otherwise they just would've named it something totally different. I believe Xvape makes ceramic coiled vapes in addition to the Vista.

Though the Peak utilizes a replaceable ceramic heater... at like thrice the price. Still hoping they stuck with Quartz though.

It also has a carb cap which I don't believe the larger version had. This carb cap looks similar to the Puffco Peak carb cap. Just another difference in the Mini and the larger original.

Right, the big Vista looked more like the HeNail type e-rigs. I'm hoping the Mini is just the Vista in a smaller, Peak-like package, but time will tell. The bigger Vista looked cool because you could use it on your own glass though.

No but I hope to get one soon…

From what I read in others threads the big issue with the Vista is the loading size, it doesn't work well with large dabs but works perfectly for microdosing, although since concentrates becomes the norm in the states not so much peoples get interest in a microdosing unit.

Even if I enjoyed the device I didn't used it a lot and gifted it to a friend… I know he likes it too.

Maybe I will appreciate the Mini cause…. the mini size but I would be able to switch from ceramic to quartz if possible but I'm afraid the ceramic heater listed will be different than the encapsuled quartz heater which was expensive to build I think… maybe the main reason for the price's difference.

I'll let you know if I ever get one...

Yeah, it would be a shame if they went with a ceramic "nail" over quartz. The all quartz heater was the original Vista's unique selling proposition. But the Peak is selling well with a ceramic heater, and perhaps quartz inserts will be available.

This thing looks a lot more useful for travel than the Peak, especially since E-Cig equipment with batteries needs to be carried on for flights.

I have it and I've used it a few times.

It was given to me for feedback before official release.
I have expressed my opinions to Xvape and I hope they address them before releasing.

I love the size and I'm excited for the final product!

Can you confirm if the heater is all quartz, like the original Vista, or if it's a ceramic bucket/"nail"?

How big is the nail on this one?

I'd be curious to know this as well. @ohmygodimsohigh said all of his quartz inserts were too small for the Mini. Hopefully that means it's a decent size.

My biggest gripe with this thing so far is that it seems to be a ceramic heater. They should've went with the sealed quartz heater like the bigger Vista.

That having been said, if you can put a nice big quartz dish in there, that would work.

I sent an email to xvape this morning asking about the heater design. I had mentioned our forum and that there was interest here. I don't think Keith would mind me sharing since he kept pretty vague and didn't share any secrets:

WOW, thanks so much - when we revealed our new baby, we was not expecting so many immediately requests to order from our authorized distributors and retailers across the globe - one of the main reason for the revealing was to get more feedback and see what additional changes needed to be made - we got some much love and feedback from many great users and clients and are so proud and gratefully for the concept confidential they kept - we were going to drop to the globe on 8/31/18 - but we have decide to push back a few days while we make the suggested changes.

Please forgive me if I don’t address your questions directly on the final design and there are so many reasons why. Probably the main one is that our company have been around for 16+ years and many can’t wait to see what we do so that they can try the same (clone/copy).

I will say we have always believe “The Best Way To Predicate The Future Is Create IT”

Which was the many reason why we implanted our global XVAPE GPQRCA (Global Product QR Code Authentication) Program on every box.

By the way, what an amazing form you folks have – others should use your group as an example to follow.
