Great review @sativasam, thanks for the detail you go into.

One correction, you mean Switzerland for mygrowingcompany, not Sweden. They do sound excellent, I may well try some of their products myself. They're all listed as organic, and they even have one outdoor grown strain. I'm interested to see what sort of effect a sativa-dominant <0.2% THC strain has. I don't have much experience with low THC strains at all, but people normally describe them as "relaxing", which is generally not what I'm after when I go for sativas (more energy is always welcome, for me).

I can't help but worry a bit about buying from a fully legal company. I know it sounds backwards, but until Europe has proper full legalization, having my name and address registered as buying something that's very close to an illegal narcotic is something that freaks me out a bit. But, that's the name of the game until our legal systems sort this stuff all out.

If I do buy from them I'll do my best to leave my own review here in due course.

Oh, and thanks for looking into the kingdomofgreen products too. I'm happy to give them a wide berth, I think.

Thanks @snaffle for the correction; of course I meant Switzerland not Sweden
(I'm going to Sweden soon is my only excuse!)

Photobucket doesn't allow me to post pics for free anymore, so I've reposted the images via imageshack. Please note that I have vaped parts of all the buds shown in the images, so they are visually less impressive than when first purchased...

Did you happen to get stung with import duty with the stuff from Switzerland? I'm pretty keen on trying this low/no thc bud.

@herbalist33 forgot to mention that because the Swiss company I ordered from doesn't take PayPal or direct card payment I had to go to the bank and make an international transfer - the cost of this service with my bank was an additional £10. This may differ from bank to bank or if you use a money transfer company it may be cheaper

Cool, I guessed that was the case. I'm in UK, but when I've looked up Switzerland, it's a grey area with import duty. Glad to hear @sativasam didntbget charged them.

Ah yeah, I remember you mentioned that before. Would I not be able to transfer the money through my banking app (Barclays)? I almost made an order last week, then got to the point of payment and wasn't sure whether a regular transfer would work or not... did you try making the transfer via online banking? Thanks again for your info.

Rbs was going to charge me around 30 pounds to do an international payment. I sent cash in the post and got there in 3 days. I still have not received my order (1 month in) but they are sending another out. Not holding my breath. Could be 50 quid down the drain.

Very interested in this, I've noted a few more UK sellers popping up and also some different types of strains. I also read that one seed/genetics company is solely looking at developing cbd rich strains. About time if you ask me. I have made a few orders and will post some reviews/thoughts in the coming days or possibly weeks by the time I receive and get around to using the stuff.

Interested in this as a vaping material, to possibly cut down on thc usage and possibly clear the head. I'm also interested in the difference between the effects of this as opposed to thc lead strains. I've been consuming cannabis for so long it's hard to tell what effect I'm going for now. Vaping has been a nice learning experience but this is leading me to question more like what effects am I after. For me I think it's mainly the flavour which was why it was a little easier for me to quit smoking, rather vape than have a mouth like an ashtray. Now I enjoy a few bags on my volcano at higher temperatures (380f and above) this is making me question if I'm actually getting that much effect of thc, how quickly this would be extracted by the volcano? If I'm setting my temp to 380 would most of the thc be gone in the first balloon, leaving more cbd behind so the next balloon is mostly cbd with some thc left?

I don't know and I'm very new to vaping - I don't know how all of this works. My standard of vape up until a few months ago was a cheap Chinese one that didn't produce any vapour till it was set above 400°f. It just used to seem to go on forever after that but with a Mighty I load it, pull it and I definitely notice when theres no more vapour produced.

If these companies get it right then green rush is definitely the right phrase. Just takes one major pharma or government member to kick off though and it's bye bye legal meds/food supplement. Let's hope it doesn't fall under the psychoactive bill by containing trace thc. I can really see something coming along and bursting this bubble but until then hemp on!

Last note- I read that hemp likes to absorb metals from the ground. This worries me. Like another user in this thread it's as if I trust the street stuff more than I would Mr hemp seller because that's what people have been consuming for decades. I know hemp has been around for centuries but no one is vaping/smoking industrial hemp on such a regular basis as cannabis is being consumed. What do we do? Just wait 30 years till some poor sod gets lead or mercury poisoning due to them having an ethical, not wanting to break the law stance on their choice of herb?

OK so I didn't expect to be posting again so quick. This is going to be brief and vague because of a few reasons. I don't want to go blabbing about x company or x strain if posting on here is going to cause issues. This is legal at the moment as far as I see- you can buy hemp tea in loads of places and have been able to do so for years albeit at a lesser quality or concentration of cbd ie pure industrial hemp leaves. What I have received is flower from the same plant advertised as a food supplement. Add to a smoothie, make a tea. I saw some guy make a cheese infused with similar stuff to this #genius #drool.

OK here's the bit that you want to read.

I ordered online. This company do a lot of other cbd based products and it states on their website that they have obtained a licence to import. This is only a statement though, there's no proof of this in any way that I can see at the moment. With the bank holiday here (May day) I ordered on Sunday. Package was dispatched on Tuesday by tracked courier. Delivered to me today (Wednesday)

I had worries about a courier smelling this and reporting it. The package was in a box and to my surprise there were 2 glass jars containing my 'hemp'. One was 1.5g the other was 1.6g. I paid £15 for each and got delivery included (as above this was tracked courier - not royal mail) I could faintly smell the herb when I opened the plastic courier bag. A little more when I opened the box and more so still when I opened the glass jar. I think these may smell more in certain situations but the glass jars did pretty well and to me are a little more peace of mind than just a smell proof bag that can be seen through or bust open if thrown around in a mail sack. Cbd content of one strain was 17% the other was 20/21%.

The hemp -
Smells like cheese from back in the day, not overpowering for me but I love the scent of cannabis. I really like the scent of these plants.

The look and feel - if you really wanted to you could pass this off as Street weed. To an unsuspecting purchaser with a fly by night drive to the corner of your street dodging hand him some money and he gives you a bag and you're off wondering if anyone saw you. You get home, it's not bad. There's not many shiny crystals on the surface but it does look alright. You definitely wouldn't complain. I have had a lot worse. I'm used to 'better' but this stuff is going for a high thc content where the stuff I got is the opposite.

I got 2 seeds so far in one batch - these weigh something, not sure how much but it's definitely going to annoy you if you're looking for pure bud. REMEMBER THIS IS HEMP. All hemp I know of contains seeds and the product page on the site does state that it contains some seeds. Not a bad thing but something to keep in mind.

I could compare the product to cheese or ak47 that I used to get 10/15 years ago.

The taste test - this was done at 365°f on a Mighty vaporizer by s&b. It didn't take much to fill my usual amount in the chamber (just under full) it fluffed up nicely in my grinder, maybe felt a little more damp than how I usually have my stuff - I use a bodiva pack for humidity control in my stash tub.

Taste gets top marks in the Mighty. For me this is what I had hoped for, something that tastes good. I don't think I can stress how good this tasted in the Mighty.

So on to the volcano then - as luck had it today was the day my chamber reducer arrived from Germany. Purchased direct from s&b I was too eager to test these out together that I didn't degass/burn off the new part. I filled a balloon at 370. It was very light vapour. The taste was smooth BUT tasted a little like curry. Not sure if this is the lack of degassing, left over taste from other previous uses on my mouthpiece or balloon or if it's a flavour that the process of using the volcano has brought out this taste (could it be the popcorn like taste of spent herb that im picking up along with the subtle flavour of this hemp) this I'm not 100% sure on but I'm definitely going to try again. At the moment maybe a 2 for flavour in the volcano but too many variables for a final decision.

I've yet to try this in the plenty or extreme q.

Effects - in my previous post I noted that im interested in what the difference in effects would be. I definitely feel something although no foggy head as the thc would bring I did feel a little sedated but still had a clear head. Slight butterflies but this could be due to the new exciting experience. I have a pain in my leg, that hasn't gone but it does feel like it has eased a little. It feels like it's helped my stomach, it felt a bit off as I had a strong coffee this morning and sometimes coffee gives me stomach trouble (especially fresh coffee-as opposed to instant)

I could definitely still function with this stuff. I was able to talk to my nephew and mother and although there was a little niggle in the back of my mind, I felt as if I could still talk normally and maybe a little more relaxed with my speech.

These could all be pseudo/placebo effects or just a side effect of me feeling more relaxed after having a nice taste of something through my vape.

I'm not saying this is going to be for everyone. It still smells quite a bit like skunk. It still looks like cannabis. The effects are going to vary from strain and person.

I personally won't be carrying it around everywhere and being careless smoking in public. Some police forces will just bungle you in a car to prove a point and then you would have to have analysis and or prove that this is what you say it is.

At the moment I see this as a food supplement - it can't be sold in the UK as medicine. Mrs May says that there are no medical benefits and the agencies in charge now want you to get a licence to advertise for this use. Makes sense. I know there's lots of evidence to state otherwise but there's no actual proof backed up by studies that they want to recognise.

It's going to have to be sold as good old hemp tea as above a food supplement. That as far as I see is OK in the eyes of UK law as it has been available for ages. There is also a statement online about how cbd will not be controlled by the home office.

This then falls in to the psychoactive bill but if it's food and is sold as food and similar has been sold for years then I don't know how they could change the law to fit that - there's probably a technicality that the government will work out sooner or later 'cannabis is defined as a plant or flowers' something like that. I definitely wouldn't be importing this myself as things stand there's still a trace percent of thc and that seems to be a bit dodgy. Plus it does look and smell like bud. You only need customs to get whiff of something and find a kilo of your nice organic hemp and then you've got a lot of explaining to do.

Sorry, I tried to keep that brief. I'm sorry also for being vague, I don't want to upset the mods here. I know this thread wasn't started by me but I also want to respect these guys cause this is a huge forum and they don't deserve a bad rep for someone sharing experience's.

My intention here is to help other users make an informed decision on the plant material in question. I'm adding as many disclaimers as I can. I'm not quoting company names 1 for use of the forum 2 because the company hasn't given me specific permission to do so. If you're interested you can always pm me. I guess there's no rule against that? I have a referral code that you could possibly use to save money if you really want to. If you are reading this though do research this more and be very careful buying something like this and also be even more careful handling something like this. I wouldn't take this in to work or college. I wouldn't smoke/vape this on the street. I wouldn't make a big song and dance about this stuff but would question a lot of things. What do you want from your herb? Can you trust your source? Are there going to be repercussions? Everything you can get answers for then do so.

Personally I like the feeling I got when vaporising this. I have previously used hemp tea in the volcano. Made dense balloons didn't taste amazing but sort of gave a head clearing effect. This stuff just tastes a lot nicer but does cost a lot more and is questionable. Comparing this to street gear I was impressed with the company, price, product, service and delivery. If more people jump on this and the law can't do anything then this will be a revolution. Once the prices start falling then this could be a no brainer me. Enjoying those flavours with reduced risk of failing drug tests - something to bear in mind for professionals also when driving (don't drive using this, I felt drowsy but if you worry about having large amounts of thc in your system this could be a nice solution)

If you are wanting thc then this really isn't for you - you know where to go for that. This doesn't get you high. It did make me smile though.

I will hopefully be on here again in the next few days. Hopefully with some more information. Thanks for reading and sorry it wasn't that brief in the end.

I have placed an order from 'cbdnol' just to see what these hemp buds are all about. Previously tried canavape cbd e-liquid and cbd isolate with reasonable results. Stopped using e-cigs for a while now though so stopped using the cbd liquid. The isolate I vape by sprinkling some (0.1>) with a load of abv in any of my vapes (Vapcaps seem to be my go to for this). Living in England where the law is still backwards means I have access to no legal buds so I wanted to try and remain legal while at work. For those interested the strains i have ordered are snow white and purple widow (only 2g of each). Will post back with more information when I get more time...

Ok sorry for the back to back posts. I received my order today. The buds do look like 'poor' quality cannabis at first glance to me. They are very 'buddy' and not like the industrial hemp I have happened to come across in the past. The 2 types I purchased are as distinguishable from each other as are different strains of cannabis. So far I have tried some (cant remember which i tried 1st) in a fury 2 and both types in a vapcap. Also I received a free gift of some blueberry pollen. All of these have a "hempy / grassy" smell to them despite have a decent flavanoid / terpene content. The flavour of the pollen was the most pleasureable imo. The effects are barely noticeable (like they should be with high cbd strains).
So far I find these types good to break up daytime usage of cannabis and actually I find they sort of undo my high from normal cannabis. Mixing with nornal cannabis would provide the best form of painkilling effects as high levels of cbd also require the other cannabinoids (including thc) for optimal results as I was reading in an article earlier.
I'm sorry for the lacklustre 'review' here I am currently working 7 days a week at one of my jobs and I have multiple jobs and go to the gym 4 days a week as well as having an 8 month old and a pregnant wife. In light of all this I am currently run down and a grumpy s.o.b. that needs more hours in the day (just to sleep and recover). Ttfn :)

Excellent review sir from someone under pressure. I salute you! The cbd helps limit your thc uptake, which is why you feel the cbd undo's your thc buzz. I have woken up feeling really sore this morning after a heavy training session and currently hitting a mighty bowl of cbd mango haze - 23.6% cbd and 0.9% thc. When I start a day like this I never can get as high as if I go straight to thc dominant stains. What the cbd lacks is the ability to make you forget you feel shit that thc gives me.

I got a gram from Cbdhaze.co.uk it was their royal haff strain. Very purple. I wasn't too sold on the taste but the service was good and it's a one man business in the UK. The bag was sealed so tight that I had to cut it open - reassuring. Sent tracked royal mail. Absolutely no chance of the smell coming through the packet. Pretty much no chance of Mr postie knowing what was inside. I was considering trying a different strain from this guy but he's completely sold out (or at least he was last night)

My first purchase - which I mentioned earlier in this thread was from Hempbotanics.com a company who have a shop in London and sell other cbd based products. These were in glass jars and sent by dpd. I got a feint smell when opening the package but nothing too concerning.

Both of these companies tell me that there's no terpenes added, organic, pesticide free. Hemp botanics told me that the buds were thc free but none of these provided me with lab reports.

I honestly preferred the taste and smell of the hemp botanics strains. Used both in a Mighty vaporizer - the curry flavour has gone from my chamber reducer for the volcano but I find the mighty more flavourful than the volcano.

I don't want to put a downer on things, I'm glad these strains are available but there are a lot of inconsistencies with these products and websites. I bought some hemp tea before I found these strains that was infused with terpenes-it may have been coincidence or related but I got a strange feeling in my chest. I don't know if I mentioned this previously. It's gone now, I'd be interested to see if anyone else gets any different sensations comparing the vaporisation of these materials compared to the 'normal' stuff.

I'm really glad these strains are on the market and furthermore available in the UK but it would be nice to see a bit more transparency (how can you see something transparent?) or have a regulatory board. I know these companies won't want to be giving away their suppliers but it would be nice for peace of mind, especially for the people who will be buying this purely for medical use - even though UK companies can't state any medical benefits, I don't even think they can say helps you relax which is totally backwards.

I know that above paragraph could be a bit hypocritical especially when comparing to buying from a street dealer but this is a known risk I take.

I know a few other vendors but I don't have the list on me at the moment. I'll try post it tomorrow.

I really do hope these products continue to be available over here and the more people that buy them the more awareness and hopefully standards will raise.

There's also a guy with a blog - Cbdtesters.co who reviews strains.

One vendor has some videos on YouTube but it seems like they are stripping channels and videos with this content.

All the licensing of the seeds you mentioned, doesnt it happened because of the genetical modification which made this hemp grows seedless? when fuckin bureaucracy is involved even piece of shit will have a price of 10 euros, Im wondering where are those people who were against gmo, now cookies gmo drop, it have gmo in name and everybody is excited:hmm:.

You have a good point here but from what I understand most of the strains that you see today will be genetically modified regardless of them being 'regular weed' or hemp.

I think there's some sort of confusion with the term GMO or at least the way that people use it. In my opinion an orange is a genetically modified organism because it is a cross breed of a pomelo and a mandarin although you have companies like tropicana selling their orange juice as 'non GMO'

I think there needs to be a distinction of altered in a laboratory or bred through genetics which is what I think the term GMO is being used for in the GMO Cookies strain - it's Chemdawg and Girl Scout Cookies merged.

Strains have been manufactured through breeding for a lot of years now, these high THC strains in particular because that's where the money has been and if you're in a legal area that's what you will want. To get high. You're right - it's a product and they can charge what they want. I'm sure there's a lot of variation in quality even with the same strain. It depends on the situation they're grown in and the curing process along with a few other factors.

I had seeds in the legal buds I received, they are still hemp flowers and this is to be expected. These are strains that have been bred (cross pollinated *as far as I'm aware) to give higher CBD and very little THC to get around laws in countries where cannabis is illegal and hemp is not.

You can buy 20g of hemp from ebay for £5. I've had some in my drawer for years as a backup smoke incase of a drought. I tried this in my vaporizer and quite enjoyed the taste and effects which led me to investigate further this really amazed me. When you look at the benefits of CBD it's a wonder this hasn't happened sooner although I still believe that THC has therapeutic properties and the combination of both of these would be the best solution.

I'm finding the NEED to get high less and less since quitting smoking - I firmly believe that I was addicted to tobacco or nicotine. Now I vaporise for enjoyment - it's still a habit but I have cut down so much. I spent today using eucalyptus in my flowermate. Not the best vaporizer but it keeps my Mighty clean. I had 2 loads for the whole day. I've been mentally with it and I really enjoyed the taste and effects. Quite relaxing and it also helped the cold/sniffles that I've had for a week - the eucalyptus cost £3 for 50g from ebay. That will last me quite a while. I think that we have a lot to learn from these flowers and I also think that a change in mentality would also benefit a lot of cannabis users. It's really made me consider if I want to get high or if I just want to feel nice.

A big factor for me is taste, I love the experience and taste of vaporizing herbs compared to smoking. I love the health benefits of vaping vs smoking so if there's something I can use regularly that is legal and I can keep a clear head then I'm all for it.

The biggest factor for me here is that I have a choice and the more research that goes in to these the more choice we have, these strains will continue to develop. The more educated we can be as a species the better our quality of life can be. I'm not so worried about if these strains are cross breeds. Genetically modified as in tampered with by guys in white coats adding stuff that isn't there naturally I wouldn't want that to happen with any variation of cannabis.

ADDED EDIT - While this was fresh on my mind I found the other blog/site that I saw with reviews of these strains. Their quest starts with the felina 32 strain and then they find a few more https://www.mjgeeks.com/category/cannabis-products/page/6/ If you scroll down the page you'll find a link for newer articles. Tweedle farms seem to have a few strains that have made it over here so this could be worth keeping an eye on.

Hi crossbreeding is totally different, but its still in the plant realm. I saw this vid about how they breeded grapefruit into the existence, they freakin growing it, and at the same moment they release smart but enough doses of radiation to the soil. I mean nuclear radiation. way crazy. Not even mentioning, adding molds and other species of organisms into entirely different organisms like plants. making plant seedless and licensing seeds at the same moment, so devilish

the cookies x chemdawg cross, if it bred in natural enviroment, the only reason for naming it GMO would be that peculiar smell

I made some quality oil with that store bought cbd flowers + some cbg and avb in old ass pressure cooker, amazing health benefits found the tek here.
I bought them for same price, but paying 10 for a mid ... I was wondering why those people in G corp want to sell it in similar amount as the price on street. Its just silly.

The taste comparison is like comparing perfume with second hand ciggie smoke, health benefits are amazing I absolutely agree, combustion fucks up the body a lot.

The research and some restrictions should be there with genetic modification. I dont want that shit either. I read somewhere they altered some gene which produce some compound in hemp, It was starting the M ... not sure what it was but It was upsetting me.
:rant::bang::sherlock::uhoh::rolleyes::ko::shrug:
That comparison looks really nice, if they are doing it only via crossbreeding, then its looking amazing. Its overpriced, should be grown all over to make it more available.
So if its not having any thc, is there a possibility to get seeds from those strains?
Im wondering why the hemp is always seeded, pollination?
The synergy is still not there, not complete :ugh::2c:

Here in Austria cannabis products are only allowed if they have less than 0,3% THC. You get cbd flower from 7-10€. There also opened a coffeeshop where they sell and let you smoke, eat or vape cbd. The productions of cbd here are ramping up, I hope this will help to get it for a fair price soon.
I found some really nice tasting strains which i use during daytime (sometimes also mixes with other herb).

More and more people are talking about cannabis, that's positiv.
But on the other hand I think it's just a matter of time until we see further regulations. At the moment our goverment is discussing about prohibiting seeds and plants.
All over the world, I'm starting it soon, know maybe some places for trading with Full Spectrum Cbd oil?
