Why is it sooooo hard to learn "how to"

First a BIG thank you to everyone who writes and posts on forums - THANK YOU :)

i learned EVERTHING about the vaporizers I have bought (vaper genie, magic flight box , extreme q) and the how to use from FC and similar forums And THAT is a HUGE problem, (it consumed huge chunks of my time) where are the manufacturers and sellers?

Full disclosure I own my extreme q because of chris at vapeworld.com yes of course I LOVE the Q! I had my laundry list of needs and chris guided me correctly, YET had I not been an educated consumer by way of the forums, I would have known nothing. Side note it was FC that made me aware of the magic flight box, I own it, I think it is better than the extreme Q.

So yes I am a newbie to FC forums, am I asking an inappropriate question when i ask;
what would be so hard, (in fact I would believe it would increase their product sales *) for manufacturers to post real how to instructions. In fact can I ask why a company like vapir (personal bad experience owned the vapir one ) can seek to sell their product on their website and web sites of resellers yet does not address on their site or in any of the forums to answer the questions that people have, issues, temperature settings, tricks others have learned. The instructions are written in verbose nonsense I had to us my get smart, agent 86 code book which lead me to FC forums. thanks for being here

(*) the entire buying a vaporizer experience which is really about getting information was a GREAT and valuable lesson for my business (nothing 420 related)

PS extreme q review to follow

I hear you on the adventure it is to research and learn about the vapes. I am glad you made an informed decision as best you could. As time goes by I believe vaporizers will be more accepted by the masses but also keep in mind, most of these companies are small lack the revenue to thoroughly advertise.

FuckCombustion is certainly a great resource in the midst of such a nonsensical industry! That manufacturers post/lurk on these forums is testament to that fact.

VERY TRUE ....only wish they would take the questions/concerns they learn here and offer as faq (links) on their sites , it would make the education process simpler as well as the learning curve....... it is the learning curve and 'cost of education' (materials) that makes me crazed..........

I think this forum represents a trend in a good direction. I'd rather see something like this than a manufacturer/reseller touting a 'how to' of their own products. I'm inherently suspicious of 'information' that coincidentally happens to promote a product being sold. Forums like this, on the other hand, offer less easy access but with the benefit of a plethora of reviews, reviewers and opinions. There really isn't a way to condense it without losing a lot of the good stuff.

I don't think there is much to learn with the Extreme Q. Of course, almost any product (Vape or not) will have little tricks and hints, but I don't think that comes from the manufacturer, nor should it. Those tips come from users that have used the products and used them extensively.

If you need some instruction on the Q, check these two vids out:

These are for the regular Extreme...but the units work the same.

Yes it is a pain but experimentation is fun and the information is all on the net. just remember delta-9 boils at 157c or 316f . and that another phrase for vaporization should be "selective heat extraction" . I would start at 160c. Take a hit and see what happens. go up in 1 or 2 degrees increments. I personally use a hot air gun and a bong and I get huge hits. :2c: :peace:

Keep in mind, these manufactures only bring hassle's on themselves by giving too much details about how their product should be used. For much of the world the "herbal" part of the vaporization is still illegal. If the manufacturers have a shred of a chance to sell to the likes of us, they must play the game of denying the particular usage that most here seek.

Simply put, they must toe the line laid down by law enforcement. It's why you will be escorted to the door rather quickly if you step into a head shop and loudly ask, "Hey, where can I find something to smoke my marijuana with?".

Crazy world, ain't it?
