I used to own a Pax, and though it's a fine vape, I found it to be an herb hog. I'm looking for a new go to portable that's stealthy, fits in a pocket, and efficient. Right now I'm considering the Inhalater XP, the Pinnacle, and the Ascent. Not really into the MFLB, but I'm open to other suggestions. Any thoughts?

I would personally wait for the Ascent to come out and see if it lives up to the hype. Should be here by March 31st?

I just got a Solo and I wear cargo shorts with em, and can easily fit it into my pocket.

Are you looking for the most thorough extraction, or are you looking for the most effectiveness with the least material input?

For the latter, I like freebase styles like the Hammer or Gnome or Ubie.
They have some pretty potent abilities. By vaporizing a wide range of actives simultaneously, they have a potent effect. Others have this ability, but are less portable, the Vapobowl for instance.

For the former, I like the Supreme Vape. It thoroughly heats the air so you get uniform air temperature, and excellent extraction.

Of these the only one I can think of that is stealthy would be the Ubie, it is compact and if no one gets a direct look at it, it looks like you're smoking a cig.

Primarily looking for the most effectiveness with the least material input. My daily driver is a log vape. It's quite effective and uses very little herb to get you there. It doesn't however, give me the most thorough extraction due to temperature limitations.

There are no temp limits on the Ubie, except your flame temp (you can still combust with it), and it is pretty compact, stealth, and requires similar inputs to the log vapes.

If you can manage to keep the hammer stealth, it is the one I would recommend.

Do you find it easy to control temp with the ubie? and how about conduction?

Crohnie, if you're more into electric units as it seems by your picks, i would wait for the ascent to come before making a decision.. it looks promising since it has a nice "cover", and the bowl is easily accessible and looks like it can vape any amount put in with efficiency.

If you're looking into flame vaporizers the choice broadens a bit.. the ubie and gn0me are great, but the genies are very nice as well, and the lotus is a nice piece as well.

I don't have an Ubie, but nearly identical glass pieces.

They work on similar principles, I use them for conduction, and sometimes convection like you could an Ubie.

On mine, I find temperature to be fairly easy to control, though the learning curve depends on the heat source. Some lighters are more consistent than others (I recommend zippos for candle flames, but prefer tiny torches) which greatly affects the learning curve. With tiny torches you can use a fast draw speed, which is more intuitive and has a shorter learning curve IMHO. That being said, temp control is just as easy conduction versus convection. Try comparing a gnome and an Ubie, the characteristics are similar, but with an ubie you can easily get away with a candle flame.

My conduction style glass vapes are really that similar as to be similar in all aspects except for packing and refilling.

I like the XP just because it looks like an e-cig so that covers most of your stealth category.
it is very efficient, you run it for 6-8 minutes and never have to worry bout stirring or having green spots left.. everything is extracted almost perfectly [depends how u pack].

and i find it very convenient that i can vape while hooked up to a microusb car charger/home charger..Not sure if the other vapes you mention do that?

I like the ascent but i honestly think it looks a little funny for a stealth vape device, i already carry a cell phone i dont want to feel like im carrying 2 phones [they said its same size as iphone but twice as thick]..

    Efficiency not sacrificing quality?
    Flavor?

    BENDER
    GLASS PATH
    (high end)

Cheapest and best all around if you only had one: SOLO!

Crohnie check out the minivap . Its a heavier hitter than the UD.Its portable but not pocketable..I really enjoy not having to bend over my dresser to hit my vape. Battery lasts3 hrs ,3yr warranty. Its the only portable that rivals the cloud in taste, extraction(so I hear). And the herb chamber uses about the same or less as an UD. It has a tiny thimble looking herb basket that makes clean up a breeze..I find myself taking a few inhales or less and turning it off. Hits me hard like my UD used to and thats using the straw.

I recommend the solo for sure. Its an efficient little vape on its own and adding a Planet Vape high efficiency stem will put you right where you want to be. If you put it in an fast food soda cup with the stem sticking out I don't think you can get much more stealthy.

Just got a Pinnacle yesterday. I'm really impressed with its efficiency. When I say efficiency, I mean both in terms of extraction AND the amount of herb used to achieve the same effect. So far it seems to stack up pretty well compared to my UD in terms of both extraction and amount used. Some portables out there are hogs. You know who you are! :goon:

I'd have to say the Iolite. It's the best pocket vape in my opinion because once you turn it on it''s more or less a "set it and forget it" type deal, being that it constantly reheats on it's own without having to touch anything. The sessions last quite a long time, 20 at the least and they've gone up to 45 mins sometime over and hour with hash, which seems to be quite an efficient use of the product.

My first vape was a MFLB and the Burnt Pop Corn taste wasn't has good as a fat joint.
I have two SOLO's and they do the job without hindering FLAVOR.

The PERSEI and the SOLO are the most used devices in my quiver!

I got the SOLO (black) first. $300.00
The Silver one was $156.00 (year after)

PERSEI for Waxes is how it started. (2.4 carts)
Had a GPEN at first. (WASTEFUL)!
The BENDER for FLOWERS is something everyone should own if you are concerned about TASTE?
    Stirring is part of it!
The BENDER is my Night Cap Device!

TOP SHELF FLOWERS are so hard to grow correctly.
I have complete respect for the growers that bring good quality to the Dispensaries.
There are many good vapes out there to Medicate with this fine medicine.

The SOLO and the PERSEI I can manage so I have two systems to deal with.
That's not to say their are not other alternatives.
    I just choose this combination.

Some people have large collections of various vaporizers which is fine for them.
I do it for the medication achieved not for the device.
Whatever means to medicate correctly without hindering the FLAVOR!

I'm a HEALTH NUT so it needs to be safe whatever your method of vaporizing would be?

TOP SHELF MEDICINE is the most important!
The Vaporizer is only a delivery system!

I at one time loved to smoke large fat joints (70's) however coughing is no fun!
