Vaporizing Keif, Then Eating?

I was just browsing the internet and I came across a post on 420Magazine:

"Oh and another thing which I find to be awesome! When you put kief into the vapor bros, it then pastes up a bit as it melted... Well you just vape it alittle, but save alot of the goo. After being in the vape, the thc releases its carbon molicule and thus is activated.. So then after letting it cool abit I scrape it out and eat it!! Man oh man let me tell you, you won't need much!"

Has anyone here tried this? Does it work?

Decarboxylation? I'm no scientist, but if you're vaporizing the kif properly most of the resin and actives should be... vaporized, with mainly they waxy shell of the trich remaining. No?

Resin build up in a wand is pretty potent but that's something else.

No but seriously, with a whip style vape i guess you could scrap it out and just eat it. probably wouldn't need to cook it in butter or anything either, as it would already be activated?
