Vaping with cotton simple question

Do you put the hash between two pieces of cotton, or wrap it in cotton? It seems like having it between two pieces would have better airflow.

It really depends on what type of vape you are using....

Usually it's wrapped in cotton so that any oils that might seep are caught in the cotton, rather than leaking out onto your... screen? Again; I would need to know what type of vape you are using.

And for that matter; what type of hash? Are we talking pressed kief, actual hash from Europe, bubble hash....?
